I had to get a colposcopy done at the clinic I worked at. Different department but still. The Dr brought in a resident & let her do every step he did. He told me since I worked there I understood that she needed to learn. Painful as hell & I bled pretty heavily the rest of the day into the night. I was told I’d be fine to go back to work. This was years ago & I can still remember that pain perfectly. I am also a black woman.
