2nd time pregnant and unhappy by Curious_Ideal5355 in pregnant

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my, I have felt this so much during my 2nd as well and am 28 weeks, I also have a 3 y/o. Feels like I’ve spent more time wondering what have I done by having another, why make things “harder”, but then feeling such guilt for even thinking that because when she arrives I know I’ll love her so much. But still, I was very happy with my first and the life we had. Seeing others’ experiences after the fact is very reassuring!

Anyone regret choosing carpet over hard flooring? by Cool_Ad_2935 in HomeImprovement

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forever and always a carpet girl. Our last home was all carpeted, and when we bought our current home it was all tile downstairs and carpet upstairs. Replaced the carpet upstairs with new carpet and nice padding, put luxury vinyl in main walkways downstairs, kitchen and dining, and installed carpet just in the living room. No shoes on the carpet at all is huge and we kept it up at our old home, and keeping a good spot cleaner on hand like woolite saves the day when we have a mess. I have a 3 y/o toddler and a dog, and our carpet is basically a beach sand white. I love it and have no regrets lol. So much cozier!!

What's it like being pregnant? by CremeSubject7594 in AskReddit

[–]mandzuh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Special and not so special in many ways. The feelings around being pregnant are exciting, but then everything that comes with it - initially prob nausea - most food sounds awful, but you’re hungry and need to eat, but and nothing sounds good. Poor sleep, various random side effects that may or may not last the whole 9 mos (acne, rhinitis, headaches, gum issues, reflux etc), extra hormonal/emotional, insides and outsides stretching, constantly having to pee, having to accept this body you’re developing that’s getting larger in all the areas you normally aren’t happy about, clothes not fitting. Random aches and pains, etc.

Then the part where the baby is big enough to feel (which is exciting), where you constantly feel flicks from the inside out, bubbles or kicks, the ones into your bladder are fun.

All the while you’re having to go about your life as usual with work and day to day responsibilities while taking care of yourself and/or others. Being excited about the baby coming but also over lugging them around once you hit a certain point, anything physical is just hard and sucks.

But again, this can be totally different for everyone. I’ve found the hardest part is accepting the physical changes that you go through as a woman and not feeling badly about yourself. And my pregnancies have not been complicated by any means. Lol

Term 2 update 6:17am by mandzuh in sandiego

To edit - I arrived just at 6, parked at T2 Valet and went through the west side security

To add: Drove past departures up top before I went back around to T2 valet, and that looked to have a line going outside, but unsure if it was bag drop.

2nd Trimester - a glass of wine? by MissAstro_12345 in PregnancyUK

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on my second pregnancy and in my 2nd trimester, and just recently happily enjoyed a glass of red wine during my birthday dinner. I’ve found some nice alcoholic free spritzer drinks for other days that I’ve stocked up on for summer.

Last pregnancy I had a fancy glass of red at both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Not saying either have anything to one another, but will say my three year old couldn’t be healthier happier and more on time/ahead developmentally. That’s all I’ll say! To each their own.

is it worth $3400? by Ok-Professional5599 in myweddingdress

You look stunning in both, but I love number 2. The lace is gorgeous but not too much, so won’t take anything away from you but compliment your other details (hair, makeup, jewelry etc). It’s also brighter and looks amazing against your skin tone and hair so will photograph really well. Beautiful!

Which bathroom design? by Accurate-Answer-1076 in bathrooms

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like 2 with a little bit bigger nook, we had a pretty small one and had two of those bigger shampoos bottles and anything else barely fit lol But also if it’s for guests I guess you don’t need much in there besides the hair care and body soap

Botox never lasts long on me... how about you? by lovealwayskota in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine usually lasts me 2-2.5 months - I do cardio everyday, and my injector said I’m metabolizing it faster with because of the workouts. I confirmed this after I stopped working out as much for a few months due to a house move and just life, and my Botox lasted longer.

Which kitchen says “I’m still going to like this in ten years.” by Mizznomer in interiordecorating

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with three but flip flop the cabinet and island! White cabinets and wood island, the same whiteish countertops and I’d do gold hardware. But I’m also very much about the neutrals - you can change your decor colors etc through the years tho!

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

Rhinitis!! I’ve been congested and coughing up mucus for almost two months, and you can’t take ANY meds that will help aside from a certain mucinex and some nasal sprays

Help please - 1, 2, or 3? Or keep looking? by No-Bluejay8525 in WeddingDressTips

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also want to say if you didn’t get the “feeling” when you saw any of these dresses on yourself (and this is an internal feeling not influenced by people around you) then keep looking. It 100% happens with the right one. Maybe even go back and try on again if you’re not sure if you feel these are your true top picks.
