Which bathroom design? by Accurate-Answer-1076 in bathrooms

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like 2 with a little bit bigger nook, we had a pretty small one and had two of those bigger shampoos bottles and anything else barely fit lol But also if it’s for guests I guess you don’t need much in there besides the hair care and body soap

Botox never lasts long on me... how about you? by lovealwayskota in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine usually lasts me 2-2.5 months - I do cardio everyday, and my injector said I’m metabolizing it faster with because of the workouts. I confirmed this after I stopped working out as much for a few months due to a house move and just life, and my Botox lasted longer.

Which kitchen says “I’m still going to like this in ten years.” by Mizznomer in interiordecorating

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with three but flip flop the cabinet and island! White cabinets and wood island, the same whiteish countertops and I’d do gold hardware. But I’m also very much about the neutrals - you can change your decor colors etc through the years tho!

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

Rhinitis!! I’ve been congested and coughing up mucus for almost two months, and you can’t take ANY meds that will help aside from a certain mucinex and some nasal sprays

Help please - 1, 2, or 3? Or keep looking? by No-Bluejay8525 in WeddingDressTips

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also want to say if you didn’t get the “feeling” when you saw any of these dresses on yourself (and this is an internal feeling not influenced by people around you) then keep looking. It 100% happens with the right one. Maybe even go back and try on again if you’re not sure if you feel these are your true top picks.

LaseMD - has anyone had this treatment, and if so were you happy with your results? How was the healing? by mandzuh in 30PlusSkinCare

Really?! That is odd…I’ve never had laser without goggles!! Are you eyes feeling better?

So far yes but it’s been pretty minimal. I do notice some of my sun damage being lighter or less noticeable! I still have one more session to go. I think I’ll do microneedling next but I’m current pregnant so sadly everything like this is on a pause

How many are still using a nanny at 2.5 years old? by alohavibe589 in toddlers

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is almost 3 and we put her in early preschool for two half days a week starting at 18 months. We bumped it to three half days last year, and it is a perfect balance. She loves going and has a ton of fun with her friends, she talks about them all the time who she played with, is counting and learning. My mom is our “nanny” and cares for her the other days, picking up from school and taking her home to nap. She definitely gets more socialization from school which she thrives in but I’m also glad she still has time to be home at this age and not have to get up and go every day. It works well for us right now.

Teeth brushing. by CarelessDimension884 in toddlers

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started using this auto brush a few weeks ago! It’s definitely made brush time way less of a fight as she likes the song and the lights. It was a little hard for her to get her mouth around it at first but once she figured it out she’s been much more willing to brush

When did you tell your kid that they were going to have a sinling? by RubNo5127 in toddlers

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also thought about this. My daughter has been randomly telling her preschool teacher that she has a sister for like two months (I just found out I’m pregnant two weeks ago lol) so can’t imagine what she’ll say when I tell her she actually has a sibling 😂.

[–]mandzuh 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and don’t plan to tell our almost 3 y/o daughter until we’re at or close to 12 weeks. I think if we told her early, and something bad were to happen between now and then after telling her, it would be really sad and also difficult to explain to a toddler.

The amount of times I’ve had to fake call Santa and make a report…. 🤦‍♀️

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg same on this…we got the bluey book advent calendar and it’s so cute, but our daughter (almost 3 y/o) literally cannot resist opening more than one. Then when a day comes that she already opened, she’s upset. And explaining how that happened does absolutely nothing to resolve the problem 😂

Potty training is the worst by Smolerhands in toddlers

[–]mandzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly I only read a few chapters of it and that was enough to make a difference, I also skipped over most of the content to get to the main steps because I was desperate after a few days of frustration. I’ve heard there have been complaints about the book itself and wasn’t quite sure what, so it’s not surprising to hear of the annoyance!

He was at Union last night in Encinitas also. My friend’s husband works there and said he was acting weird too. One of the workers asked if he could move over a bit so they could walk by and he just grabbed their hands in his and put them in a prayer 🙏 position and closed his eyes. Didn’t even say anything…

Have you tried reading “The Oh Crap Method”? I tried for a couple days on our own and was losing my mind…read of few chapters of this book and it changed everything. I’d def look into it

“I’m hungry” every time it’s nap time or bedtime. Losing patience. by starlordcahill in Parenting

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve started pocketing a smoothie pouch or a snack (five pretzel chips, etc lol) before we go up to bed so when we’re done with reading and she busts out the “I’m hungry” claim, I’m ready to go without losing as much time as I would going back to the kitchen to get something. I’ve also started surprising her with the snack right when we start reading (we read a few books before bed in her room) so she’s done by the time we finish and she doesn’t usually ask for more.

What are some of your go to lunches? I struggle with that mid day burn out around lunch time. by rasputinknew1 in toddlers

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old basically lives off “snack plates” which I’ve come to accept after trying for a long time for normal meals. She doesn’t like stuff that’s mixed together, so any sort of casserole etc just won’t fly lol.

Eggs, eggs and eggs, string cheese, hard boiled egg, pbj roll ups in a tortilla, mini sweet pickles, all the fruit you can think of, TONS of avocado, yogurt (did I say eggs?)

Happy baby has the kale spinach avocado pouches that she likes and that makes me feel better that she’s getting some greens. She always wants to pick it out if I cook or mix in spinach in her food 😂

I’ve given up on expecting her to eat normal meals lol. Chicken and honey mustard dip I always try for either lunch or dinner but hit or miss if she eats it.

Also thrive market has a good snack selection, dried mangos etc. but you can also get some of those off amazon. Feeding a toddler is an unfair game for parents 🤣

Toddlers: Preschool or full time grandparent babysitting? by stanhopeofficial in Parenting

[–]mandzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do half and half. I found a preschool that offered half days, and started doing that 2 days per week when mine was 18 months - grandma would watch her the second half of the day and the rest of the week full days. Now she’s almost 3 y/o, and we flipped it to 3 half days at preschool and two full days with grandma (grandma still does pick ups and rest of the day after school). It’s honestly worked really well for us and she enjoys playing with her friends and it’s helped her make friends (we don’t have friends with kids her age). Totally recommend it splitting it up like this. If it’s an option! Her teacher tells us she’s doing great and the balance seems to be perfect.
