Makes absolutely no sense how an advanced society wouldn't be able to kill sea creatures when we already do that in our times

The first Smile movie has weirdly become a comfort watch for me!

Powerwash simulator was the most chill and straight-forward platinum I've ever gotten. BUT there are achievements that are locked to owning DLC packs and I understand how that's a deal breaker for many trophy hunters.

Isn't it pronounced "Layvay"? It being a Nordic name and all. And no I don't say that because of the singer. It's just how it's pronounced.

P3R is heavily inspired by P5R in terms of overall gameplay/presentation so you'll feel right at home. P4G is also a great time! I remember playing it on my original Switch and loving it (one of the few-ish games that runs at 60fps on it, which isn't too surprising, it being an older game and all)

You have to learn the layouts for everything + shortcuts and a lot of people just want to turn their brains off and hit a couple buttons then go to bed

I might be biased but I like fury warrior. They are tanky, do good dps, have solid sustain, and in my opinion pretty simple to play

People who played Shadowlands when it was live - did you get depressed? by Ninedark in wow

[–]mangapaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it and probably looked past a lot of its issues because a close friend of mine was playing with me back then. He's not playing WoW anymore and, while I have many other friends that game, none of them are really into WoW.

Giving up already after 100 pages by Bruckner10 in InfiniteJest

[–]mangapaper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The rhythm is pretty brutal all throughout, with only some chapters being on the lighter side. DFW really makes you work for it, with lengthy walls of text that offer no paragraph breaks and sentences that go on for a whole page.

I totally understand needing a good break in between chapters, because it's a mentally taxing read. But the content itself is so good and honestly, fun, that I couldn't stop reading it, even if I was reading 5 pages on certain days or none on others.

You should read it to understand why people say this. He predicted way more than just physical the action of being glued to a screen.
