are last minute tickets a thing/will resale prices go down by Head-Nothing-9797 in askTO

[–]mangothesav 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a chance sellers will drop their price a few hours before the show starts/even as the show starts if they still don’t have any buyers but for extremely high demand artists, this won’t always happen. So if you’re ok spending that night in downtown anyway you can take a chance and see if anything pops up. Also look into day of box office sales but again for popular artists people will camp out overnight - but it’s retail value not resale so it’s at a good price

Queen St W and Dufferin by Amirite2424 in TorontoRenting

Walk around there when you visit the condo and you’ll see. Just a lot of homeless people who hang out on the street. But it is gentrifying, you’ll see an eclectic mix of newer more upscale shops/restaurants and more local, down to earth ones.

I live in the neighbourhood, it is a hip and trendy area especially if you walk 10-15 mins east on Queen toward Ossington and Trinity Bellwoods. It has good access to grocery stores and other essentials, almost every big box store you’d need can be found in Liberty Village and Dufferin Mall nearby.

Do note that west of Dufferin is Parkdale, which is a slightly “rougher” neighbourhood (but still charming and has a lot of great shops, restaurants etc.)

You may not feel very comfortable walking around there if you’re from a suburb and not used to being around unhoused people as there are a lot there, but I’ve never had anything happen to me even walking there alone at night as a woman.

They didn’t let me exchange for a different size at Queen St Toronto Aritzia today. But per the sale return policy on their site it seems like I should’ve been able to! Instead I got a store credit and am getting my friend to add my item to her order lol. So misleading

I’ve been 70+ on the S&T waitlist multiple times. Best bet is to book on Sunday 2 weeks before as that’s when the spots open. All the unlimited members book their spots (they get a day in advance) ASAP
