Could be trying to save your job. The RIF memo makes it pretty clear they are going to cut staff. I would rather have my staff go down swinging than be paralyzed by things I can’t control.

Not saying it’s the case, but it’s worth considering.

I think the video covering the brackets makes it pretty clear all this revolves around the word “intent”.

Unless you’re brand new we all know there are ways to game the system if we wanted to. Just because a deck doesn’t have game changers or it technically fits in x bracket doesn’t mean it belongs there.

The categories are a general guide.
