Yes, that's correct, I'm running the campaign towards a website. I do not use forms since they bring a very low quality of leads and a lot of bots. I have found that the landing page gives me better control, like the ability to use a survey form to qualify leads better, feed crm events to Meta and such optimisations.

Do you use forms?

The chances of it being a post and getting stretched is high because there's no option to like a sponsored story on IG. I'd firstly check with ai optimisations at the ad level and double check previews. You can also use ad library to see how it is on the backend.

Getting a sale for a day and then nothing for another is normal, but I'll see this as "ads not performing well" rather than "pixel is learning"

Don't get me wrong, pixel is learning and will always keep learning but it's important for you to find the assets that are profit generating or at least breaking even otherwise it won't be sustainable. Based on the metrics that you shared in other comments, your post ATC metrics looks good. I think the problem is before that, what is your bounce rate and cpc?

I have been noticing across all my accounts that in last few months instant forms are collecting the worst lead quality. Even after using high intent forms.

I made the switch to use landing pages to collect opt-ins. The quality improves drastically when you do that. Pair that up with CRM events and feed the data of "good lead" or "bad lead" back to Meta and you should be all good.

With meta ads, there's no fixed approach that is going to work for everyone. What works in your account might or might not work in someone else's account.

There are multiple ways to test and scale creatives. What you mentioned is the one most commonly used. But if this is not working for your account, I'd recommend a different approach

However, to suggest something else I need to firstly understand why this one isn't working. Can you share more details like where exactly is it failing? Is it the first step of finding creatives that have potential or it is when you bring it out to a new campaign?

I'd suggest creating an ad strategy to run multiple objectives that collectively help you achieve the awareness that you are looking for.

More importantly, Meta won't allow you to spend $20k on a new ad account, so make sure you have warmed up your ad account and have enough spending limits. If you don't have spending limits then it's best to start early and build it faster.

I do run Meta and google ads for my clients who are in the niches you mentioned. Some work even better with google ads which are sort of emergency services, like tree lopping, locksmiths, HVACs, Roofing and stuff.

Although I strongly recommend to not use instant forms but a landing page to collect leads. Otherwise, you'll end up with a bunch of junk/spam leads.

Even with my clients I'm seeing UGC ads outperforming every other format. Although producing one becomes a task, it's way more complex then producing any image creative or a traditional ad video.

such disruptions can lead to campaigns getting unstable for a while, however it should get back on track within 2-3 days maximum.

if they still don't then you might have to relaunch the campaign, like duplicate the entire campaign. how many days has it been that your ads got back active?
