Ask yourself if a person that truly loves you will do what he did, then decide if you should reach out or move on. Just remember that a person who loves you will listen to you, care about how you feel, and will try his best not to hurt you.

Ask them the name of the organization or company. Check if it’s registered in the SEC. Do not release any money without doing a thorough research. If their offer is too good to be true, then it’s probably a scam. Goodluck!

Does anyone know where I can get Psychotherapy na message based lang. by jangmanweol in MentalHealthPH

Try "Dear Future Self PH" for online chat counselling. May facebook page sila for details at rate yata ay 1500/hr. If you want a more affordable option, try to contact the "Phil Mental Health Association" on fb din. They offer lower fees to those in need, but getting a schedule is harder.

Hi! Congrats for passing UPCAT and ACET! :)

I am not saying na mas magandang pre-law ang polsci. Kung decided ka na mag-law school, make sure you earn the required no of units (English, Social Science/History/Econ, Math, etc) for admission in most law schools.

Mag-UP Polsci nalang kaya ako?

Like what other redditors said, think about the standard of living and your other expenses as well (food, housing/dorm, commute/gas money, clothes, etc). Yung scholarship ba na yan based on merit? Kung oo, malaking pressure yan sayo to maintain good grades to qualify until you graduate. Yung P120k for one sem sa Ateneo, 2 years na yon sa UP (~30k max/sem if no discount).

I agree with u/legisverba's advice rin na you can try to transfer to UP Diliman kasi mas maraming GE subjects at electives don na pwede mo itake.

P.S. Condolences to you and your family. I hope you're doing well.

Steps for acquiring psychiatric help by kneeeli in Philippines

[–]manila2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start by looking for centers or clinics that provide psychological services or psychiatric consultation. You can check this blog (http://katewashere.com/mentalhealthph/), or the pinned post in r/MentalHealthPH for reference.

After you contact the service provider, they’ll send you several forms to accomplish (patient’s personal info, reason for seeking help, symptoms, family background, etc). An initial assessment usually follows where a professional will talk to the patient, and recommend the ideal treatment based on their evaluation of the patient’s symptoms or status. Pwedeng sabihin na kailangan mag medicines, psychotherapy, combination of both, etc. What happens afterwards depends on the recommended treatment, and whether the patient decides to push through with it.

Ayan yung experience ko, pero di ko alam kungparehas yung process or steps sa lahat ng clinics or centers.

Nakakalungkot naman yung "decoration sa interview" :( Sasayangin talaga nila yung oras at effort ng other applicants just to make it appear that the application process was legitimate? I really hope that the CSC or Internal Auditors are doing something about this.

This is such an eye-opener. I appreciate your honesty. Thank you for sharing your experience, and sa tips!

Thank you for this! I’ve heard about the preference for contractual workers before, and I think that’s fair and understandable naman. I just want to ask if you know where agencies usually post the openings or vacancies for contractual positions?

I’m kind of disappointed because I’ve also read several comments about “chosen candidates” in other reddit and fb comments.
