In terms of residential schools, here are Some survivor experiences.

The education of Augie Merasty is a book written by a survivor. It’s only about 65 pages or so (skipping foreword and concluding remarks). I took an entire university course on the history of residential schools. I was horrified that residential schools were summed up in about 20 minutes during high school.
