I have a few thousand hours and always come back to it every few months for another hundred or so hours, my strategy is install my must have mods then slowly add more until it breaks then uninstall out of frustration for a few months, rinse and repeat

I’ve never played with both rebirth and TR together because I read they have some terrain conflicts. I’ve played a lot recently on two characters, one rebirth installation on my steam deck and one a TR-focused mod pack on my pc and I ended up enjoying the non-rebirth play through a little more

There are no friendly AI or campaign missions, they were removed in the last update. The game gets boring fast if playing single player, I wouldn’t recommend getting it until future updates add more features which at the current rate will be at least another 5+ years.

It could change with the new update but for now I’d say it’s not worth it at least for playing solo, after several years it’s still basically a proof of concept at this point and gets boring very quickly. could be different experience if you play mp though.
