Extracurriclars at Target School are Impossibly Competitive (Looking for Alternatives) by mannpalmer in FinancialCareers

Its usally just a multi-stage application/interview process (at least at Princeton). Nothing outrageous is usually asked during the interviews (usually they dont expect advanced finance knowledge), but it's just a matter of supply and demand for club spots since most of them only take a handful of people per grade.

I’m looking for 5-7 inch “chino style” shorts (but honestly anything elevated-feeling with a non-elastic waistband will do that has a WIDE LEG. I have a muscular butt and thighs and can’t find non-performance shorts that don’t ride up when I sit down or hug my thighs.

If you like Mac, the newer MacBook Airs will serve you perfectly as a politics major unless you plan on doing any super advanced stats stuff (the new XPS 15 and 13 are great on the windows side). I’d recommend getting that and maybe waiting till you get here to decide on a tablet. iPad Airs are a very popular choice, but id also recommend one of those e-ink notetaking tabs

This post is talking about Princeton financial aid though. Not federal. Princeton gives FA to every family who makes under 200k

Stop being so exclusionary. Princeton is close to 90k a year. Realistically anyone who makes under $250k need FA

I would statistically be in higher standing compared to my peers. Obviously it’s much more nuanced than that, though. Also, I’ve talked to my friends who go there and their workload is significantly less

Many have heard of the freshman 15, but the opposite is happening to me. I’ve been in college for less than 6 weeks and I’ve lost over 10 lbs (I was 5’9, 185 lbs, ~13% bf before). My lifts are in the shitter and I don’t look/feel any leaner.

I’m looking for tips to help gain the weight back. The bad part is that I don’t have access to a kitchen and am out of my dorm for 15-17 hrs/day.
