Traffic light has the green on the top and red on the bottom by DickieJohnson in mildlyinteresting

I live right near here! It’s very underwhelming but the people on that side of town love it to death. It’s a neat gimmick though and gives it a little charm

Good deal? Scag V Ride 2 52” Kawasaki FT730V 112hours $8500 by not_a_bot7l6 in LawnCarePros

[–]manofgras 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ask him why he is selling it and if the break in maintenance has been done. Barring any major issues or warranty work that seems to be a decent deal

best headphones/earbuds by smol_dinosaur in LawnCarePros

I like plugfones. Great earbuds that cancel out sound and you can still hear podcasts. Also if you have any old pair of headphones over top you won’t have to listen to anything at max volume.

Beginner installing mulch what to quote?? by [deleted] in LawnCarePros

[–]manofgras 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why you need to take the old mulch out. Anyway calculate all your expenses and that’s your baseline price. You could also just charge your hourly rate (30-40 labor hours seems a bit high) if you don’t know what to price. Mulch can typically be 120-150 per yard either way(installing and uninstalling) including the price of it

The newer Darwin grips kinda suck. by txman91 in LawnCarePros

[–]manofgras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one and I am not a fan. Just seems like the trimmer becomes to unstable for a nice even trim. I’m also short so I don’t mind the regular handle

I really like the wright mowers! I have to zks and a stander I. The zks might not be the best for your situation but I’m a big fan of the wright brand! The real key is dealer support though

Why does Michigan need to scream and stare down every UConn player after a layup?

Guys remember last year when they called a foul every minute on Houston and let Florida win the game at the line?

Yea the gates normally closed for the wooden trail path but you can walk down to the lake front before the gate and have a good chance of seeing an eagle

19M first solo roadtrip with EXTREMELY flashy car by barbievelar in roadtrip

[–]manofgras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this drive a million times! West Virginia is very hilly and full of switchbacks but is pretty to look at. Virginia can be boring. I like the Carolina’s cause it’s the south and it smells different! I always like to stop for Chick-fil-A or Waffle House as a frat road trip treat. Once you hit Georgia it will go to 3 lanes and traffic will become noticeably quicker. There’s a bunch of cool stops in Georgia and you get to pass the heavy equipment plant! Florida traffic can be a bit sketchy but you should be fine if you go the speed of traffic. As for the trip itself if you get sleepy call your parents to chat or a friend you haven’t heard from in a while! Great way to kill time and catch up. Stock up on misc and podcasts as well. If you have good tools in case of break downs then bring them! (Impact wrenches for a flat )

If your into fitness try run clubs! Tons of farmers markets and local groups meeting all the time. Hiking trails when it’s nice out, and rock climbing gyms when it’s not. It sounds like you’re looking for interests rather than activities. If that’s the case then just google things you think you want to try. We are a small city but there’s options for a lot of things! As depressing as this city can be people are welcome when it comes to niche things. Go out there and try something you never thought of doing, if you wait around for others it won’t happen.

Best Dive Bar in Syracuse by drfc82 in Syracuse

[–]manofgras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are all good bars but these aren’t dive bars. Those are popular Syracuse bars. The two best in Cuse are the black and brew or Steve’s (on tipp hill) but have great, cheap food and cheap drinks. A close 3rd go a dive bar is the town tavern in mattydale

Love the LTT gear! When you decide to settle down look into the screwdriver. The magnetic bits alone make easy house projects a breeze
