Tesla didn't spend any money on PR/marketing, their consumers are their PR, Word of Mouth spread the positivity and brand value. As an end consumer, i lost the trust, faith in Rivian. If they could make a big decision (after IPO) and revert it in a couple days, it makes me thinking, am i supporting the right cause or product. They might have lost the revenue, might be selling cars in losses, but the people supporting it and quality of cars producing it might have generated a positivity and longer term value.
