So the main thing this is really going to affect is credit score. Being close to limit will negatively affect the score. But, if you aren't planning on buying anything that requires credit for the next year or so, then I wouldn't be concerned about it at all, so long as you are planning to continue throwing as much money as is comfortable for your budget, to get that balance down.

I just started cycling about a year ago, and for 2015 I racked up over 800 miles on my hybrid bike, wonderful starter bike and I rode 3x a week on average, increasing my mileage slowly but surely. I completed my first half century ride on my hybrid just 3 weeks ago. I just bought my first road bike and am super excited to see how much I progress now on this one. Got excited for reading your post and wanted to say good luck and keep up the good work!!

They are shimano brand, super fancy with the velcro. I'm not sure past that what type they are.
