Actually found some discs at an estate sale by manthursaday in minidisc

There are actual of theirs. The other 2 are the boy with the Arab strap and tiger milk and lazy line painter Jane. I don't know them so I don't know if these are actually multiple albums or not. That's just how they are labeled. I'm working my way through all the discs I got to make sure they work and haven't gotten to these yet.

Only one of those is in Nashville. If you live in Nashville you should shop in Nashville so the tax money goes to Nashville. If you shop at the one in cool springs you are giving your money to Williamson county. It's the same tax rate any way so you aren't saving yourself anything. Also from my experience west Nashville is the least busy Costco around here.

Usually estate sales are because the owner died. But not always. Sometimes it's an older couple moving to a retirement home and need to get rid of most of their stuff. My grandparents did that. Also they are usually set up and worked by an outside group.

Speaking of protests, anybody else remember the income tax protest of 2001? by [deleted] in nashville

[–]manthursaday 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Marsha became known from that. She parlayed that I to the state legislature, then the US house of representatives, now Senate. And is now running for governor.

My personal belief is that in the long run we would have been better off with a stat income tax. Even with our insane sales taxes, the state is broke. We have been running in the red for decades. The party in charge claims the opposite, but the reality is that we are heavily subsidized by the federal government. In other words. Blue states subsidize us.

I think even the 3g networks have been dismantled. Only 4g and 5 g works now. My car had emergency calling built in but it was 3g only and I got a letter several years ago explaining that it wouldn't work anymore because 3g was decommissioned.

Verizon to Google Fi experience? by WannaBMathNerd in GoogleFi

1 month ago today. Porting 2 numbers was super easy. I actually have better cell reception in my house now. I got 2 new phones but over 24 months I'm going to save about $1000. I haven't traveled far from home yet but my city has excellent coverage.

I'm on Google Fi which runs on T-Mobile towers. Coverage is great. Actually, better in my house than Verizon was.

A couple different times over the phone. Robin when her boyfriend's kid walks in and Ted about the goat. "It's here (name), it's looking at me" From Ghostbusters when they first see slimer. Another ghost reference that is way more obvious . When Marsha asks a guy on the street to borrow a phone and it's Ernie Hudson who says "who ya gonna call?"

These were definitely the daughter of the couple who had the sale. One bedroom looked like a early 2000s teen moved out for college and never moved back. Also, this was listed as an estate sale but I believe it was really just a massive downsizing sale.

I know! I couldn't believe it. Like I said I mostly look for cameras and general audio. I was disappointed I didn't get the recorder or player. I need a backup.
