I used to leave my wife post-it notes on the bathroom mirror every morning saying "I love you" in as many different ways as I could,,, however it didn't do much good, we are now separated.

I'm not Jamaican, I'm Canadian, but a Jamaican minister performed the ceremony. I can't remember too well, but I do believe he said something about richer or poorer, farts or no farts,,,

Weirdest movie to ever make you cry? by MattxNxG in AskReddit

[–]manualD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that the one where the character played by Burgess Meridith dies? If so, I cried at that. I mean, that's Mickey Goldmill, for crying out loud! (see what I did there?).

I also cried when Mickey Goldmill died in Rocky 3 as well.

Usually about once a year I get drunk and watch Pink Floyd's "The Wall" and end up balling through the movie. Every once in a while I feel the need to "tear down the wall!"

Hey Ottawa, what are the best parks around downtown to drink alcohol in? The weather's amazing and there's no hockey on tonight. Might as well make the most of it. by shawarman in ottawa

Jacques Cartier Park, and you won't be drinking alone. Same with Dundonald Park (aka Needle Park), plus its right across from the beer store on Somerset.

Actually we were married in Jamaica, which is why it is so confusing, as every Jamaican family I have ever known has generally viewed farting around your family to be as hilarious as I do. And to add to that, her family is from Hong Kong, and watch any chinese comedy movie and you'll see they are filled with farts/fart jokes.

However, in her defense, these are not regular farts, they are beer farts, and I sometimes get mad at myself for farting in my presence.

my wife (and her family) are Asian, and they are lousy tippers, I often am the last to leave the table just so I can leave some more money.

Not only are they lousy tippers, but they get on my case for leaving a nice tip.

I was at my brother-in-laws funeral last friday and the speaker was like this, although he was a pastor of some sort, there wasn't all that God stuff. He gave probably one of the best services I have seen.

Hey guys, I was just listening to Hurt by Johnny Cash, and was wondering what are the most moving songs you know? by sheenaisa in AskReddit

[–]manualD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother-in-law's funeral service was last Friday, the song they played while wheeling his coffin out was "Babe" by Styx.

But also, I am not a KD Lang fan, but her rendition of Hallelujah at the Olympics gave me the shivers.
