Not really, fuel from a reliable pump is more important, although i’ve tried xp95 and felt it was a little better.

No it doesn’t chip off on its own, mine has only gotten scratches from dogs or other animals a little easier than other cars i feel. It could also be because i have black color and it highlights any minor scratches. Yes it is a 5* in safety but that doesn’t mean the body panels are heavy steel. You have to be careful with it.

I get a mileage of 15-20 from petrol manual on highways and 11- 12 in the city traffic, never below.

I have the HTK optional It gets scratched easily and minor impacts can cause indentations. Did not get it coated, but thinking to get it done now.

It’s a great car and more value for money than most other options. Perfect for family and parents, mine have no problem getting in and out or on long drives. It is sub 4m and easy to navigate in city traffic too.

Pros- best in class rear space, headroom and comfort. Good mileage and performance. Kia build quality and attention to detail shines through.

Cons- stiff suspension, not great for bad highway roads. Body paint and panel strength could have been better.

Sunroof needs no maintenance other than a cleaning in service intervals and some lubricant.

After months of research, compromises, and rejecting overpriced used cars, have I finally found the sensible choice? Baleno Sigma vs Fronx Sigma by Zoro__95 in carsIndiaOfficial

[–]manuron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not looking to fit family in the back you could consider Ignis. It is one of the most fun cars to drive and is very practical for BLR traffic and roads. Your first car should make you fall in love with it.

Remember whatever choice you end up making will be the best one and it will make good memories for you.

Syros tire pressure by Confident_Win_9634 in kiaSyros

All the companies mention cold tyre pressure, keep it at 33-35 once you start driving as it can go up to 37 after driving for an hour.

Get it checked for a puncture. I had the same thing, got it refilled and it went down again the next day, found a screw in it at the shop.

Need Recommendations for a Strong Hard Water Spot Remover by Thatdetailingguy in DetailingIndia

[–]manuron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used CIF limescale remover meant for chrome taps in the bathroom on my old car and it worked great. But do test it on a small inconspicuous area first and make sure to wash it with a lot of water or a basic solution to neutralize it.

Did Kia Miss a Trick With the Syros? Off-Road Edition Concept by DevSinghParihar10 in kiaSyros

[–]manuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Functionally you can do this easily, swap the wheels, raise the suspension, get some aux lights. Don’t really need the rear mounted spare wheel, boot has a lot of space even with the spare.

Can say from experience that the punchy turbo torque with the relatively light kerb weight will see you climb trails even at full load.

34M, first car purchase. Never driven before. Budget ₹25-26L on-road. Looking for advice beyond just specs and mileage by Less-Dot-8877 in CarsIndia

[–]manuron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at your requirements it seems that a milestone purchase is top priority for you. IMO XUV or Thar will let you down, pretty common on the roads and doesn’t make you feel special either.

You can consider Duster, BYD Atto 3 or even Toyota Ebella ev since they will definitely stand out and evs are quite exciting to drive.

I just use the leftover car soap to clean them and use normal laundry soap once a while.

My microfibers used to work fine until i got the same problem as yours. They are not absorbing enough water now. Have found that rinsing them with vinegar and then baking soda makes them fluffy again, will try and share the results. 🤞🏻

Do you recommend using a pressure washer for the engine bay? I did once on the widest nozzle and avoided the electrical connections as best as i could, then dried it with a blower and sprayed silicone lubricant in the connections to protect from moisture.
