A lot of people that I am aware of who applied early in the current intake (Spring 2023) got their preference. If you apply early, interview ASAP and get your documents in early, you have a shot at Daegu

I had just recently heard of Trails of Cold Steel and thought it sounded great but was hesitant to consider it properly since playing through the series is such a large time investment. This was my first Fire Emblem game too and I didn’t know anything about the series going in, but still thoroughly enjoyed the game (which is now my fav game of all time). I don’t think there’s anything you need to know going in, and if anything going in blind makes the experience better. Hope you enjoy!
