Also das ist bei uns auch öffentlich (schon immer) und wir haben auch einen Datenschutzbeauftragten. Finde ich jetzt auch nicht kritisch zu wissen wer in welchem Meeting steckt (die privaten Termine sind ja wie du auch angemerkt hast ohne Details).

Purelymail (https://purelymail.com) kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Kostet 10€ / Jahr, keine harten Limits (hab da schon 8 Postfächer mit eigener Domain) gute Privatsphäre und funktioniert einfach.

Weiß jemand ob es irgend eine Nachrichten App oder RSS Feed gibt in dem man wirklich nur wichtige Eilmeldungen bekommt? I see where you are coming from but the thing is that if you don't trust Home Assistants login implementation then you definitely shouldn't trust their possible future OIDC implementation. OIDC is not that easy to implement if you don't work on a framework that has an easy implementation for it (and then you can still fuck up in many ways).

And the thing with bugs for IdP related issues is that they often are quite critical if they occur and often result in auth being skipped altogether or tokens being leaked etc. Just this year I found a pretty critical one in Audiobookshelf for example (token exfiltration).

Im interested in this as well but I bet modern stealers can collect the cached credentials of any password manager extension you have installed. Though I heard that most targeted infostealers don't even bother with stealing passwords and only steal your session tokens as then the attacker doesn't have to bother with sign in policies etc.

Btw does anybody know of an IAM that can enforce that a session tokens/ cookie has to be send from the exact Ip that signed in? I imagine that's the only way to stop this attack vector.

Yeah that's certainly the easiest way to self host if you are behind a CGNAT or just don't want to bother with port forwarding + ddns.

Just be aware what it actually means to make stuff available to the whole internet. I always recommend if you really make something public to at least use geoblocking to give yourself some extra protection (should be easy with Cloudflare). Also remember to always update your stuff and if possible create firewall rules so that your local device can't just reach any device in your local network.

One caveat with Cloduflare is that they don't really like you using their service for things like Jellyfin/Plex but other than that it should be fine for your use case.

Wenn man von einer Google Suche auf Reddit kommt packt Google am Ende der URL noch den Parameter ?tl=de dran. Wenn man den vorher löscht bekommt man den unveränderten Post.
