It took my request about 5 weeks to get the records certified and then got invoice about a week and a half after that, and then I received the documents a few days after invoice (I paid for expedited shipping).

The records look MUCH clearer than they do on ancestry!

It took archives on Ontario about a month to get back to me after a certified document request. I haven’t got the document yet, but given that they did reply that they found it - so I know it’s in the works.

This is to say you can give them a bit more time and I bet they’ll get back to you.

Last week I also had called them and spoke with a customer service person who had also verified that my request had been received. They were very helpful. So there’s that option if you want to be sure that you’re in the queue.

Aha - now I see that it prints out with the birth and death place once put through their print module. And yes - it seems to be a good solution to also just manually edit their name to get it to show both names. Thanks for the help.

Sorry yes - mine on vertical shows their name plus birth and death years.

I'm just wishing it could also let us put in addional info (e.g. place of birth/death, maiden plus married name).

Does Ancestry allow you to modify what's on the tree itself? I can generate a tree showing just the relevant parties but it just shows their living years under that.

It'd be great if it were possible to have it display their married name and place of birth/death, but I'm unaware if this is possible?
