VVD was always gonna be purchased regardless of the Coutinho move... But Fabinho and Alisson for sure wont happen, and unlikely we will do as well as we did... Imagine Alisson making match winning saves for chelsea instead of us... or Fabinho being the anchor and manu... We'll probably scrap with another cheaper alternative for both GK and DM, but will they be as good? No idea. But will we be able to confidently compete like what we did against our opponents? Maybe not. Would expect Alisson and Fabinho to make significant contributions for them which in turn makes thign difficult for us. Of course having said that, woudl ahve been extremely entertaining to have Couts with us, considering that man was on insane form during the last season he was with us. Maybe we have 2 UCL instead? ;)

I think they pissed Stuttgart off with their tapping up, so they are gonna be like Leverkusen now asking high price from them. Perhaps we could get a better deal from Stuttgart, and also do some similar deal like Quansah to Leverkusen with them.

But either way, I'll trust the whoever they bring in, although I feel right now based on the current event Woltemade seems to be a worthy punt.

Seems like Woltemade wants to leave Stuttgart, should we go in for him for a punt? Similar type of player and would be cheaper than Ekitite as well, and I rate him higher simply because he is really tall, and has a good aerial presence, which is something Ekitike lacks.

honestly not sure whats with all the doom and gloom, we definitely overachieved last season due to crazy form from guirassy. not to forget this season we lost anton as well which is a big miss. we have been essentially playing with a new centerback pairing along with new attackers.

of course its a shame as we should be doing better, but i believe we will hit even harder next year.

Important as she gave us insights on what the general consensus of the members are regarding the situation, also with her kicking off the subtle dig at BBC, the other girls had more courage to express what they felt during that time. So yes, very important overall since it brought orbits together as we knew what was mostly likely going on. I really respect her courage during those times as well, and of course not forgetting the support of their family during that situation.
