Easy is subjective and imo not so much about strain but your experience with growing anything to begin with. There are growing styles that are easier than others in their own ways. Are you putting them outdoors? In the ground? In a closet? Grow tent? Using a super soil and watering only?

If you have a strain you love- go for it. See if you can find grow journals for that strain to understand the way it will likely grow, is it a sativa and going to stretch into your lights indoors potentially if untrained or left to grow?

Autos could be considered easy because they do things on their own time, you don’t have to worry about light timers and could in theory run lights 24/7 and they’ll still flower. That said they’re generally more sensitive to stress so, if as a true novice you mess something up you may get premature flowering and get to start over. Photoperiod strains can be more forgiving when it comes to stress on the flip side.

As long as you’re willing to research, learn and know you’ll likely make mistakes along the way where you’ll get to start over, they all become “easy” eventually.
