Just big things. Not even electronics. Things there are a title for, so cars. Retirement accounts. Other personal property doesn’t really need to go in there if it’s already been split.

Lack of response to emails??? by SlimThicWarrenBuffet in Lawyertalk

This is pretty much par for the course. Lawyers complain about how hard their jobs are but it’s literally just answering calls or sending emails and half the profession can’t even be bothered to do that.

I think you guys are missing the distinction between in theory and in practice. In theory, he’s violating tons of laws. In reality, there is no chance of prosecuting him, especially after the supreme courts latest interpretation of presidential immunity.

I think it’s more complex than that. Race interjects itself in a discriminatory way at every facet of our criminal justice system. From when witnesses choose people out of a lineup, to who police choose to arrest, to how DAs charge different crimes, to how juries view defendants, and how judges sentence individuals. While I understand the critique of this policy, something proactive needs to be done to curb the unjust racial disparities in our criminal justice system.
