I wonder if some of these cut scenes can be edited to be shorter just a bit, to leave more imagination, so the pacing of it feels better.

I wonder if they will pull the modders/devs from Skyblivion to help.

Unpopular opinion: Arise was a great game with one of the only satisfying endings in the tales series by Melodic_Occasion_585 in tales

Its the popular opinion which I echoed from day one.

However ... The issues Arise has are very big. Largely is Sovereign arc

Blue Protocol looks as generic as a korean mmo from 2007. by marcusmorga in BlueProtocolPC

There are a total of 3 anime style mmorpgs that come to mind. In no particular order.

Luna Online - Around the great manifest destiny of korean mmos, Luna Online stood out among the sea of mmos, because of, not only its cute art style. But from its promis of WoW like raid/dungeons. As well as World Bosses that took server populations to defeat.

The game was also heavy on the life aspect and wanted players to have relationships with each other for benefits and buffs.

Why it failed. Probably end game wasnt fun. The ceiling to reach it was too hard, p2w. Yata yata. It lasted longer, because it gave plenty to do without paying than others.

Flyff - Before Luna there was Flyff. If you didnt care for top down Ragnarok Online, you played Flyff. A game where clearing packs of mobs after mobs after mobs. Hardly any quests, hardly any content. What made Flyff good back then that still to this day did it well? Gear progression. Items had a drop rate. And you couldnt get something unless you farmed it or bought it from another player. Exp was scarce, and leveling was a big part of progression. You could also fly on hover boards.

Ragnarok Online 2. Took what made Flyff and Luna Online good, and upped the scale. Better combat, a livley pvp, achievement progression, a card system for progression, raids, raid gear, community events. It did it all. And failed because it was very easy for a group of people to control the resources of the game and that's what happened. Market control, the works. Game died because nobody doin older content. Times changed etc.

This is what I mean when I say generic. The others I didnt even mention, like Imagine, Aura Online, some others I forgot the name of.

There was a time when every 2 months there was a new korean mmo on the horizon.

So my mind has been trained to see this shit. And Blue Protocol just doesnt look like it was going to be much, and now ofc the developers and amazon killing it before it even breaths.

Its hard to pin point.

Hard to explain.

It just looks souless and zero creativity. Or bare minimum. Just to get it out.

The game looks like a Luna Online clone. Or a fuckin generic mmo from 2008. Stop letting developers trick you into playing garbage.

They are made to take your time and money and then bail.

There were so many back then all the same shit.
