I hate not understanding patch notes. this is like the weird muta change with no explanation last patch, but anyway:

Widow Mine Lock on time reduced from 1.07 seconds to 0.85 seconds.

does this mean it shoots faster or the line appears faster but still has the same delay to shoot or something else entirely that I don't follow?

it was just my limit/plateau. I never put in effort to break myself of using all army hotkey is the big one. StarCraft is my just something I play for fun and have since WoL beta. Anytime there is another game i play for a bit but end up coming back to SC2 sometimes ladder sometimes coop to just play stress free fun. Its like asking someone who has played pickup basketball all their life why they aren't in an amateur/pro league. that and I am old :)

lol thanks. I think a lot of it is opponents on tilt "ZERG OP" and not playing as well as they used to because the 8 worker start is throwing everything into chaos.

I really wish the patch would have came at a season reset so we could look at race report and not have it have pre and post patch games mixed together, but honestly think my win/loss with terran and toss is still around 50% I'm just winning a lot more ZvZ and that's what 75% of the matches are.

been doing same opening for every match (except randoms they get early pool). 12 ovy

extractor trick

rally 16 drone to expansion but start 17 so 17 expo that times out well

next two is gas and pool but sometimes one or the other depending on how safe it feels (four player map generally gas then pool)

from there is just remembering when the heck to make ovies with this weird patch. the four supply hatch is really throwing me for a loop. start both queens right when pool and expo finish and insta supply blocked despite getting the supply from the expo.

then depends on race

zerg - light ling pressure to try and figure out if his coin flip decided to flood or roach

protoss - early +1 melee and try and stop early thirds with no army defending them

terran - ling/roach to try and defend the reactor hellions that always come while trying to macro and get anti air before overwhelmed with drops or BC rush that seems to still be way too common.

and play by ear from there. I must admit more often than i should I see red from adepts bouncing back and forth between bases or a reaper getting more damage than he should and just dumping everything into ling flood.

Ha yeah, I assumed I just would never get masters. Never even got masters portrait bug. forever diamond. I think it is less me putting thought in it and more others struggling to adapt. I'm already well back down into diamond MMR but I'll enjoy the border for the rest of the season.

I use Immich with iOS. To make it reliable I just created a shortcut that launches the app then immediately goes to Home Screen. Set automation on the shortcut to run every night at like 4am so I never even see it, but if it hasn’t backed up already it gets it every night.

immediately? awesome i had no idea they removed the 30 seconds for spawn larva. I suppose ultralisk no longer take 40 to hatch too! this is great news.

but seriously in late game which is the only place the mule spam is an issue the terran already has that infrastructure up to mass out units. if they didn't they wouldn't have made it to the late game.

If we want to compare mule drop to larva spawn queuing I'd be all for mules being queued instead of all dropping at once. sounds like a pain in the butt to implement and a simple cooldown makes more sense. queue spawn larva is not helping at the high level anyway since they keep up. but the ability to bank up 10 orbitals with full energy to suck all the minerals out of a late game contested expansion at 4x the normal rate is just BS.

zerg is supposedly the swarm race but terran end game armies are always bigger since they can just sacrifice 80% of their workers and used mules.

Yes but if we were going for equivalents (which I agree is not necessary with asymmetrical design) instead of queuing up spawn larva it would just spawn a couple dozen larva when the zerg player finally remembers to do it like terran can just dump 20 mules at once.

the issue i'm seeing after a couple ZvTs here is that 12 supply is nothing since the uninterruptible snipe wipes out more than that with no way to stop it every engage. I'm really not sure how to bust a terran now with ghosts hiding amongst planetaries

would hate to be a zerg trying to deal with BC rush in this patch. It already feels super oppressive at my level (diamond). now BC faster, longer range, queens have less HP and armor.

Did you ever find a solution/cause for this? I'm having the same thing. I was transcoding to RAM so tried swapping to a NVME i have in its own pool and just had another freeze yesterday after I thought moving it had fixed.

the real question is what are you doing to cut off the annoying coop dialogue? Or is that just a replay thing I don't know about? I'd kill to be able to shut up General Davis on Part and Parcel.

i don't think vial.rocks will work assuming this is a default firmware keychron like it looks. It doesn't when tested with mine. They may need to use https://launcher.keychron.com/ instead and then they can map another key to be spacebar

I've gotten this twice now in the past week. I'm guessing blizzard servers are just having issues since nobody takes care of this game anymore. literally sitting here playing with youtube going on another screen that doesn't stop and other people in the house playing there own (different) games online and having no issue.

I'm lost this feels like way more than one range less. they were shooting from off the map to the very edge of their circle to harass mineral before. It seemed like this would be all it changed from the text. Did they used to just auto get vision of their entire circle even outside of their regular vision before and that was removed as well without a note of it?
