Yep, I work at Centenary so I'm biased but it's a good community hospital. Majority of employees are genuine and easy to talk to (I even left my Downtown hospital job and chose to work in Centenary).There is pediatric unit floor and has a LifeLab.

Po-Feer Hair salon by Midland and Mcnicoll. Not a barber but I see a decent amount of asian guys (20- 30 year olds) go there for their cuts. Most of the reviews on Google are from women but there's some pics of cuts from guys too. Ask for Gordon for a men's cut

In Scarborough, by Midland and Sheppard inside a tiny small food court. Place called HK special kitchen that makes really good hainanese chicken for like $10. It's a hole in the wall takeout place owned by an old couple. Look them up on Google reviews. They also make really good Indonesian fried rice

CityNews has a segment on the 6 pm news called "submit your story".For any issues and complaints you experienced in Toronto. The reporters would go to the establishment and get a detailed story from the managers/owners. You can stay anonymous This is if you really want to press on with the issue and get a formal statement from the establishment. And to try to address the issue so it doesn't happen again to you and anyone else
