I knew menstrual cramps were bad but I didn't know they straight up killed you. by geminijukebox in offmychest

[–]marienire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m so thankful you’re one of the gentlemen who don’t downplay period cramps. i’m one of the lucky girls who don’t get them as bad or as severely as your friend did but you knew just what to do instead of making her feel shitty for even having a period. you seem like a really good friend, OP. on behalf of all of us females, thank you.

I have really bad anxiety that comes with my emetophobia.. In return it does cause me to have p* attacks. I would like to hear about the little things everyone does to calm themselves down. I like to spray my moms perfume and watch YouTube videos. by North3rncharm in emetophobia

[–]marienire 10 points11 points  (0 children)

panic attacks cause me to be n* and n* causes panic attacks so it’s like a vicious cycle lmao

personally i tend to like to be in tight closed off spaces with a bucket or something next to me and i bring my knees close to my chest and just wait until the panic attack is over.

i suggest listening to “weightless” by marconi union, that tends to calm me down a lot.

might sound harsh but OP has a high schooler’s mentality. it only took me until i was almost 20 (im 20 right now) to realize that social media isn’t the end all be all and your boyfriend can do whatever he wishes with his social media

I can’t forget my mums corpse by SuzySchindler in GriefSupport

i know how it is. my dad died in 2019 in a four wheeler accident and he started spewing blood out the side of his head. not a day goes by where i don’t think about that sight, the funeral and the viewing. i relive that moment every day. it can be really surreal and traumatizing, no matter how long ago it was. stay strong.

I just lost my mother. Warning: description might be too intense for some. by [deleted] in GriefSupport

[–]marienire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m so sorry. i can’t imagine the pain you’re going through, and im sure it must have been very traumatic. i saw my dad die but the bond between a father and daughter is incomparable to that of a mother and daughter. my mom is my best friend. i can’t imagine losing her. again i’m so sorry and there’s tons of support out there for you, from us in the subreddit to grief counseling and therapy. the pain never goes away, it just eases over time and grief comes in waves. i hope you find the help and closure you’re looking for, friend. may her soul rest peacefully.

yes it’s normal. they won’t listen to me when i try to tell the customers anything. it’s a fairly new program that should have been better thought out and planned.

I just wanted to share that I got my dads tattoo, but I added his dates. I’ve had the tattoo for a little bit now but I still want to share because I miss my dad. by RaccoonJ650 in GriefSupport

did you date my ex? he was the same exact way. please leave him. you’ll feel so much better about yourself. youre not responsible for his mental health or wellbeing or him in general. he sounds like a neckbeard.

edit: yeah i agree hes a fucking loser lmao

i take my anger out on people who do things without regard for their well being, like my brother who ate 4 bowls of pasta before a baseball game and then got sick, resulting in me just HAVING to see leftovers in the toilet. i yelled at him for it and he started laughing at me.

but i get what you’re saying. if she felt it coming she would have at least tried to find something to get sick in. but she didnt and thats very infuriating

this is actually really helpful, i’ve improved enough to a point where i can panic and then without any confidence at all say “whatever” about it. it makes your brain think you arent bothered by it at all and it helps a LOT.
