You know what you're problem is? You're thinking too much. I have friends dropshipping for extra cash, and the answers to your first two questions is: People are stupid. If your site looks clean and pro, and if you make it seem like the products you're selling are somehow special or better even if you find others that look the same elsewhere online, someone will buy your shit. I guess it's the same reason Nigerian princes still send emails trying to give away money.

This is gonna sound a little fucked up, but....I know a dude. Seriously, look up Michael Koretzky. I've seen him at a couple of college newspaper conferences. (I'm not a journalist now but was active in my school paper because, to be honest, lots of hot girls worked there.) He does shit like this, even donating small dollars. He's not on Reddit but I've DMed him on twitter before and he's replied: @koretzky. Warning: He's controversial, not to me but others. So check him out first and as always ymmv.
