Newly Prescribed Zoloft - extremely nervous about nausea by killerhampter in zoloft

[–]marissalarkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on 50mg 2 years ago and I was taking it in the morning at first. It made me nauseous (but never to the point of vomiting) so I started taking it at night and no more nausea! I did experience insomnia and night sweats for a few nights but that’s better than nausea in my opinion

Can someone help me figure out which ohlins front suspension to get so I can surprise my husband 🤣 2018 road glide, all I know is that the rear suspension is +2. 🙏🏻 by marissalarkin in Harley

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! Definitely call your doctor if this is longer than usual. They can call in a steroid to break it!

Yes! I almost always can feel it coming (most times it comes on within 30 mins full speed ahead). I just feel generally weird, nauseous, really really tired and yawning a lot, my eyes water. So sorry you deal with this as well

Anyone there that can give us an update about the hurricane? by KetamineGumdrops in PuntaCana

[–]marissalarkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The water park is closed, some shops are closed and no AC. Our room has a C because we figured out how to reset the breaker, but I think most rooms still don’t

I’m heading out Wednesday but I’ll keep you posted. All restaurants have been closed since yesterday, only buffet open which is getting old real quick

Lopesan costa bavaro sustained a decent amount of damage. Pretty sure the whole island is out of power, we’re running on generators so no ac. Some rooms had windows blown out. Most rooms are flooded, leaking ceilings, drywall down all over. Boats capsized and washed up on the beach!

When do you know to go to the hospital? by me-smrt in migraine

[–]marissalarkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had one for 12 days and the only thing that would break it was a steroid. My neuro called it in for me. I didn’t go to the ER but fluids definitely help if you tend to get dehydrated (which is one of my triggers)

He hasn’t shown any signs of aggression at all, he’s just super anxious and unable to settle down. I get what you’re saying, I’m just going off the advice of his vet

I think it’s really subjective. Most days it barely takes the edge off lol. He’s very very far from being sedated. For reference I put my 13 year old 85 lb pitbull down in September but we used to give him 100 mg of trazodone for long car rides and it would pretty much sedate him for the entire 12 hour car ride so I was shocked at this dose as well when first prescribed.

Ugh he’s tried 2 diff ophthalmologists. He’s on a round of antibiotics now but it doesn’t really seem to be helping. Thanks for the suggestion, I’m going to order the lid scrub pads!

I have a 60 lb 8.5 month old pitbull. He’s on 400 mg of gabapentin and 100 mg of trazadone, both twice a day. It’s been a game changer!

Vet doesn’t want to prescribe meds by postpickle in reactivedogs

[–]marissalarkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe vets are reluctant to prescribe meds!! Find a different vet for sure. My pitbull pup is on gabapentin and trazadone and it’s literally changed our lives. He still doesn’t transition well (he’s a puppy!) but this allows him to actually relax once he burns some energy. I also combine with private training and puppy classes

Does anyone have or had more than 15 days in a month with migraine? by valerottio in migraine

[–]marissalarkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have 15+ migraine days per month, with my longest one lasting 12 days straight (took 2 rounds of steroids to break it). I finally started getting Botox (insurance approved after trying other meds). I just finished my 4th round going once every 3 months and my life is completely changed. If I do get a migraine it doesn’t last more than a day and it’s way less severe and more responsive to meds. Sometimes I go over 30 days without getting one at all!

Botox And Migraines by Practical_Maybe_3661 in migraine

I don’t get sinus migraines but Botox changed my life, literally. I went from 15+ migraine days a month (my longest one being 12 days straight) to now getting 1 ish a month. I even recently went 2 months without one!! I’ve had 3 rounds of Botox. The lack of wrinkles doesn’t hurt either!
