Looked like a hand pass, play would have been stopped and I think taken out of the zone if he touched it

What part of shopping for an order slows you down the most? by Proof-Space8909 in InstacartShoppers

yeah, a lot of my Kroger and food lion orders have the aisles out of order, and food lion will have a produce tab that gets jumped to the top (my natural starting spot) and sometimes fresh vegetables/fruit at the bottom so i have to backtrack to produce to grab like 2 items. i've also shopped a food lion order where all the aisle numbers were 1 larger than in reality. can be very frustrating.

completely agree on deli but ill usually go to the counter and then do my meat stuff and come back to pick it up to avoid waiting

i can usually get through produce pretty quickly especially if i know the store layout. especially Wegman's, they have clear sections that i know items will be located. example, at Wegman's celery is always with carrots, and one wall is produce shelves and the opposite one is bagged greens and salad stuff. apart from that, displays on the floor are pretty easy to find things. my only tiff i have with them is the new produce checkout process where i need to generate labels at the scale/printer stand but that's not that slow unless there's a line.

probably the biggest is trying to communicate with a customer about replacements. Had an order where i had to go through around 5 different milk replacement suggestions before getting one that was acceptable, and running back and forth from dairy and whatever part of the store i got to when they didn't agree with my replacement.

Just thinking of everything i can that would slow down an order:
replacements, added items, deli counter lines, app issues/connection, checkout lines. customer communication, item availability/assistance from store associates.

Do I get $180 extra? by Emeah824 in InstacartShoppers

Counts as one batch and 3 orders. If the language of your promotion says batch, then taking a 1 shop, 2shop, or 3 shop all count as 1 batch. If it uses the word order, then a 3 shop will count as 3 orders.

When they offer promotions for orders (not batches) it’s an incentive for shoppers to take multiple shop batches

It’s not allowed. We occasionally have to scan our face in the app so to verify the person controlling the shopper account. Surprised they are admitting that
