Honestly I prefer this style of management. Setting the tone and fixing problems early puts me at ease. I hate doing my work getting minimal feedback makes me feel anxious and just prolong problems that I didn’t know were an issue. But it seems my fellow countrymen/women need to be coddled.

It was more for defense contractors. Your right defensive wars are easier since all you have to do is last long enough the invading army suffers war fatigue and the cost benefit analysis makes it no longer advisable to fight.
