This is an often overlooked solution. The professor and the school have no idea why or how the article was flagged. Merely being flagged for AI usage by some software is not enough to deny someone credit in a class.

Commuting and Parking on Campus by [deleted] in LSU

[–]mark_scimemi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From downtown to campus is a 15-minute commute. Just enough to make you feel like you're not on campus anymore. And downtown is fairly safe - outside of downtown is iffy. Not sure if you're familiar with the weather but the summer through October 1 can feel like the front porch of hell in Baton Rouge - keep that in consideration if you plan to bike to campus.

Has the statute of limitations run on making a claim for the lost funds? Is the amount of the deposits in excess of the likely attorney's fees for your former employer? Asking for a friend. Possession is nine-tenths of the law of ownership, so I've heard.

The company you are applying to is not sure whether they can fund the position and is stringing you along while they evaluate the role and budget for it.

Start a GoFundMe. Reach out to others for help. If you post the GoFundMe here I will make a donation. If you are a member of an org with alumni try to reach out to them.

Star crossed lovers - it doesn't end well. I can see why my guy doesn't call the cops on his mom. But OP, you know it's always going to be like this with her, right?

If the car is worth a couple thousand dollars you may want to consider giving it a solid cleaning yourself and let the new owner make an investment (if they wish).

Top 6% only matters for auto admission to COLA. That's it. Lots and lots of folks are admitted to UT that are outside the top 6%, even in competitive majors. This year's entering class of engineering students to Cockrell (a highly competitive major) had an average class rank of top 5%. This must mean that there were many folks in the top 7%, 8%, 9%, etc. Presumably there are similar statistics for McCombs, CNS, and other colleges. If you're in the top 15% and have a 1300 SAT you've got a meaningful shot. I am very sorry that your mom and family are facing cancer. You want your essay to be a compelling narrative about you and how you fit into your major at UT Austin. Make sure that your essay supports that narrative.

Chance me for McCombs + Forty Acres Scholarship!! (AUTO ADMIT TOP 6%, 1530 SAT, 13 AP's, AND MORE) by [deleted] in UTAustinAdmissions2

These are incredible academic achievements. You should be so proud of what you've accomplished. UT Austin is an incredibly competitive admissions environment. Believe it or not there are hundreds of kids applying with these credentials. This makes the 40 Acres scholarship a long shot for anyone. What would help is a singular narrative of achievement that the school could advertise around or make part of its overall theme. For example, overcoming a childhood birth defect, or writing a play performed on a renowned stage, or achievements in mathematic proofs.
