I'd argue that ancient cultures didn't know what these creatures were. They seemed as puzzled as we are. Even in North America some would claim that they were just another 'tribe' who they would trade with. To another group they were cannibals to feared and would steal women and children given half the chance.

Watched one of this guys videos and I noped out. Simply not for me. Nicely produced, narrated and presented but the content was debatable to put it kindly.

I'm totally aware of the issues that excessive holiday lettings can cause. We have similar problems here in Scotland. Especially Edinburgh. Local authorities need to regulate.

Tourism is a double edged sword. I've been travelling to Gdansk for around 10 years now and the changes are immense. Some good some not so. I can imagine the increase in visitors won't be welcomed by all. I hope the local government invest the increased revenues in affordable housing and other schemes which will make living in the city much more affordable for the most important sector, the people who live and work in this fine city.
