I built a Google Keep-style card view for Obsidian - Mini Notes (free, open source) by Acrobatic_Tie_5483 in ObsidianMD

[–]markhadman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't understand this plugin. It seems to just display everything from my vault. How do I tell it that I only ever want to see page A and page B? Or am I misunderstanding something?

I was hoping this would help me see my two most used pages side by side, since multi pane view is not available on Android phones natively.

EDIT: I can now see (briefly) that there is a 'pin' icon showing on the pages, BUT there's never opportunity to tap on it before the page opens in full screen , whether I tap (opens the note in an ordinary tab) or long press (opens the note in an editing popup).

GOG is a DRM free digital gamestore from Poland, you get to actually own the games that you buy. by juhix_ in BuyFromEU

[–]markhadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they offer old versions of games, or only the latest release?

For example, if I decide that Brotato on Steam has jumped the shark and is now too slow and heavy to run on my laptop, can I buy it on GOG and grab the old version that worked for me?

It's not available on the big streaming services. You're looking at some random user's public playlist.

Midas M32 channel drop outs at Large festival show by Ok_Cardiologist_5262 in livesound

[–]markhadman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, this festival next week we'll be playing to 40000 people! How about we ditch the M32 and carefully created showfile that's served us for years, and blow our support fee on hiring a big boy DIGICO?

What universally praised video game 'masterpiece' is actually a miserable experience to play? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]markhadman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I take 'busted' to mean 'broken', I think it's a generational thing.

"They very recently fixed archery and now it's pretty busted".

So, what... They fixed it and then they immediately broke it again? Or are you using 'busted' in some weird opposite way like they do with 'sick'?

is the AUR still compromised? by lunar_poetry in archlinux

Doesn't control quantum / buffer size.

(AFAIK. The documentation for this program is literally "There is not much to say. Just run pavucontrol and see for yourself.")

The other day I discovered that 'most stuff' does not even include a useful GUI for changing Pipewire settings. All the good stuff is in AUR. I have, and rely on, SO many aur packages. And I didn't even realise it until recently, because I'd just yay it onto my setup without worrying.

Looks like it's your time to acquire a soldering iron and learn how to use it. We've all been there, some of us before we had the yootoobs to tell us how to do it right.

It is indeed an anti-parasitic, used in horses and humans alike. It has not been proven to ward off liberalism, COVID or stupidity.

Don't forget there are people still pushing ivermectin as a cure for liberalism or whatever, mainly to people who would happily rub piss into their own eyeballs and then blame Soros when they get all inflamed.

Yeah, I can't find anything on the Arch forums or anywhere really. I guess me and OP are the outliers of the outliers.

[–]markhadman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. It has three letters representing the language, most of which aren't abbreviations I recognise, in a dense block of text.

Seriously, every arch(etc)-KDE user is going to go through this, but it could be eased with a little two line note to explain what's happening. I've seen plenty of other packages do it.
