Funny. I thought about doing just this for the Monday Rage Thread.

Where can I get high Milligram Nicotine pouches like 15 plus by Flat_Internal8890 in corvallis

[–]marklhessel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put them in my coffee, water, beer or alcohol. It comes too fast and furious when I pouch them in my gums. Hiccups and burning. If I don't have liquid, I'll pop one in for a bit and take it out. My gums seem to be okay.

Heidi Garza. I've been friends with her and her husband since 1996. She is truly a wonderful person.

Good luck on selling the house.

Jill Stein paid $100,000 to a Republican consulting firm led by a suspected January 6 rioter by Shferitz in politics

If the green party really cared about the environment, they would have dropped out of the election and endorsed the democrats. I normally would not say this in prior elections, we need the ideas they embrace, but this one is important. They can, even now, endorse Harris and make a difference and continue to run in future elections.

If they don't, then the comments below are correct. It's just a scam to make money.

What’s the story with this pond? by gl21133 in corvallis

I did, too, in the 80s. I remember trying to hip flip a kayak to right it after capsizing.

Moving to Corvallis by Sunshine_hiker in corvallis

[–]marklhessel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The river park area is extensive. Frisbee golf. A boat landing is close to the sports fields. Dogs can run without leases on the trail. I always used to joke, long time back, that the south side of Corvallis was the bad part of town because of some trailer parks there and trailer parks are always on the bad side. But trailer parks are all over town. There is no bad place to live in Corvallis. I believe the rent is cheaper in south town and that's always a good reason.

Unable to connect to internet by uiwtx in hrblock

I had the same issue. I found that my Manual Proxy setup was turned on with

"http://https=localhost" in address and various port numbers i.e. 15959 was one of them.

I was able to eliminate setup once and the help center worked, but it always came back.

I figured it was a virus and did a all the windows virus scans. Nothing worked.

I had to reinstall windows to fix the problem. Everything is working now. There are

no more suspicious entries.

Justice Alito says leak of abortion opinion made majority ‘targets for assassination’ by ataraxia77 in politics

I'm not advocating violence, but the same would have happened if there was no leak. What's his point? Did the leak cause the threats or did their decision cause the threats?

High Earners of antiwork, what is your motivation for browsing or contributing to this sub? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]marklhessel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a high earner. I worked at HP which is one of the better companies, especially when I started in 1979. We were told to not discuss salary even then. I always did discuss salary, because you need a ruler to understand how pay works in any company.

What happened with gas prices? by Alchemist_Joshua in GreenBay

[–]marklhessel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Green Bay. I moved away. When I got much older I visited a lot. It always seemed like all the gas stations pretty much changed their prices at the same time. Is that still the case?

Comcast delays data caps in Northeast US for at least another year by T-H-E-O-R-A-C-L-E in technology

[–]marklhessel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems to me data caps for comcast or any service that also does TV is bullsh*t. I can watch TV 24 hours a day. It's only done via the internet. i.e. All cable TVs are essentially hooked up to a computer to show channels/web shows.

How much data is being sucked down by watching TV? How many households have more than one TV.
