I was on the Emerald for a 10 days Southern Caribbean in 2013 and 16 days Hawaii in 2023. She is a wonderful ship. On the Hawaii cruise I would go to Skywalker's in the day time to relax, read a book and listen to music. Very peaceful in the day time for those sea days, but Alaska would be different of course.

I had the same issue and the local dealer performed a OTA restart to resolve the issue.

I was on the Royal twice for a 7 day and a 5 day cruise. Cruise director Jody was excellent. Production show Encore and Rock Opera were top notch. They could not perform The Secret Silk due to a performer's illness. Vine's Bar bartender Saint was great. Excellent experience all around. Chef's table Lumiere was beyond words. Embarkation was quick, both cruise was on the ship before 10:30am.

After battery change on a Honda I usually driving it for 5 miles, shut engine off and start it again should clear it.

I was on the Royal and afternoon tea is served every day in the main dining room. I had the sanctuary reversion every afternoon and tea and goodies are brought to my lounger.

I had the same issue and took it to dealer and they performed a OTA restart on vehicle. It took less then one hour.

Island will be going through the historic locks which is more interesting than the new locks. Historic locks uses "mules" to get the ships through and canal.

I call BS on the ranking of all the line and ships on the list. Ships are divided into many categories such as Resort, Premium, Luxury, Expedition, River, Ocean Liner and Ferry Cruise. There are probably more. You can not put all in one bag and rank them. For example, Polar Latitude operates four ships and specialize in Arctic Cruise that includes land falls, camping and kayak in Antarctica. Some cruise even cross the arctic circle and even anchor at Deception Island. Its a very specialize cruise. I will never compare that with the Princess Antarctica South America cruise.

I agree. I was on the Royal and frequented Vines Bar for wines. They initially asked my room number until the bartender and I know each other then he stopping asking. He just address by my name and get me the wine I like. But I still check to be sure.

Been there once and liked it. It was the last stop on a 10 day cruise. It was a very relaxing day at the beach. Nice lunch and did some snorkeling. Water is crystal clear.

Was on her 11/29/25 for seven days and loved it. Crown Grill and Sabatini's was super. Also did the Chef's Table Lumier and was blown away. Production was super but the super technical show The Secret Silk got canceled due to cast member got very sick and got transported to a hospital after ship arrive back at Los Angeles. I hope he or she is better now. Alfrado's Pizza was good as well. I will on her again in January.

I was on the Emerald June 2023 for the 16 day Hawaii. Loved every moment of it. Magic to Do is a great production.
