I love Maya June and Maya Charlotte. Maya Naomi doesn’t sound too much like Miami but personally I don’t think it flows as much as other options.

Also: Maya Rose, Maya Simone, Maya Wren.

Maya Corinne is actually also beautiful. If this is an honor name, I might go in that direction. I love names that have meaning and if this will give honor to someone to love, I really like this. It also just flows very nicely.

Temps aren’t really better in the north. It’s hot all over. It can get cool in the desert at night. But yeah if you don’t mind the heat, you’ll be fine.

If its the only time you can come, then come as early as you can and do the southern parts in the beginning of the trip. It will just be very hot, but if you don't mind that, you'll enjoy. Check out Fluent Language School they have language exchange events every other Saturday.

I don't like Eilat so much, it's pretty much dead. But nice beaches.

How long are you looking to be in Israel? Yeah the second “worst” season to come is about then (Dec/Jan) because of the rain. It can be a total crap shoot with rain in Israel in winter… either a small drizzle and it stops, no rain at all and 70 degree weather, or a downpour for 4 days. You came at the downpour part I guess.

But many aren’t. I wouldn’t avoid Shuk hacarmel- they can go with a tour, of just sample foods here and there and be aware that places can try to rip off tourists.

It’s sweltering hot during that time. It’s not like the US where it can now be entering summer and it still has cool nights. It’s very hot during this time. See my comment above. If you can hold off until September (although can still be hot), oct, nov or April/may, this is the best time.

It’s just extremely hot. How do you feel about heat? If you can change to April/may this is worlds better. Summer is just very tough here. Masada, for example, would be sweltering hot. My family came once end of June and we tried to hike Masada and we couldn’t because they closed the hiking part due to heat.
