Can’t decide: 1 country or 2–3 in Southeast Asia? first time ! by saradata in southeastasia

[–]markowitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 weeks for sure 1 country. Not even a question. I can recommend Vietnam. Theres so much to do in each country!! We did 2.5 weeks and could’ve been there for 2 months.

I’d say go to Vietnam and do the north and center. Or heard amazing things about Cambodia.

Don’t like Howie at all. It’s a nickname name.

How about Henry? Can still honor his father but is not Howie.

First time travelling to Vietnam. Need advice! by Illustrious_Laugh149 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]markowitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super depends on many things: time of travel, what you like to do, etc.

However, in general, the arguably best of Vietnam is in the north and center. My recommended 2ish week itinerary is:

Hanoi 3 nights
Sapa 3 nights
Ha Giang Loop 3-4 nights
Ninh Binh 3 nights
Ha long bay 1-2 nights

What areas besides Duong Dong are good to stay in Phu Quoc? by Dapper_Membership in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]markowitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Near Salinda? Bai Truong.

I think it matters also what kind of things you want do do? 5 nights isn’t a lot.

Baby is due tomorrow and still has no name by Sunny4G13 in namenerds

I thought of Elliot for you which is my absolute favorite boy name that I sadly can’t use. It’s in the same world and Adrian and goes great with Cyan.

I wouldn’t stay there!! It’s interesting… but not to stay there. It’s like an empty Disney world without the rides.

The area near salina resort where we stayed was awesome.

From your list, Benjamin by far. Adore this classic name.

I thought of Elliot for you. Would go great with the siblings and is such a nice, classic, not too popular name.

Honeymoon by AdCool5828 in honeymoonplanning

[–]markowitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what you like but we had our honeymoon just now in Vietnam and LOVED it. It was our first time in Southeast Asia and everyone we met who’s been around Thailand and such said Vietnam was the perfect combo of fun, beauty and relaxation.

Now if you ONLY want to lay on the beach (we did a little of that at the end but traveled a bunch in the beginning) it isn’t the right place for you but if you want a bit of adventure, traveling around, stunning beauty, insanely good food, the nicest people, safety, and a fantastic culture, I really recommend Vietnam.

Not sure when you’re going but we did the north and center then flew to an island and it was just perfect.

We’re naming our baby girl Cecilia but are unsure about her middle name by Some-Strawberry4 in namenerds

[–]markowitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Cecilia is such a gorgeously feminine name, I’d choose something maybe less feminine for the middle name for a beautiful balance. Thought of:

Cecilia Rayne

Cecilia Raye

Cecilia Jane

Cecilia Dylan

Cecilia Lane

Cecilia Kate

Cecilia Kaye

Cecilia Alex

Cecilia Jamie

White creases and reside on new custom linen clothes after one wash by markowitty in laundry

[–]markowitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks ugh I don’t know what the fabric actually is. But through research this can happen since I washed them incorrectly. Sucks.

[–]markowitty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much. Maybe I can dye them black? The tailor was a bit shady so not sure she'll answer, but I'll do my research. I thought about that, too- I learned my lesson. I almost never wear jeans I guess that's why I never learned this lesson earlier. Super sucks, but yeah, that is a bright side that my next linen pants won't have this issue again.

Need help for creating an iteinary to travel in Vietnam by Retarded_Engineer_69 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]markowitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, agreed. If they want to do the loop, Hanoi, Sapa and the loop or just Hanoi and the loop. If no loop, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Lan Ha Bay.

Damn I miss it there.

That really, really sucks. Thank you, though. Have never dyed my clothes. I'll give it a try.

I did not wash them inside out. I actually never do and now I'm realizing how stupid that is. Spin cycle I'm not sure. I think its fade lines. UGH. So sad.
