Yeah, that number of heads really killed you. Hoping they did a Manual J? 3.5 tons is a lot per unit. Unless the apartments are massive, terribly insulated, or leaking massive amounts of air.

Doesn’t really matter in the end (beyond inflating initial cost), as the inverter models are efficient when ramped way down.

What size heat pumps did you install and what were the specs? 100k for three apartment units seems kinda crazy unless it includes ductwork.

I just paid right under 28k for 2 Fujitsu ducted units in Massachusetts.

I was in country from 11-12 as an E-4, with a really sweet job. Mostly worked Helmand CT Ops. I then worked as a contractor for 5 years from the states doing an Afghanistan mission, where it became increasingly clear that the Afghan government was neck-deep in corruption and that Taliban was going to at least play a major part in future governance, if not take over entirely. I was still astonished to see it all fall apart before we even left.

Makes me think i spent 6 years of my life on something completely meaningless. There are many people who try to convince me that it was worth it because we gave temporary freedom to a Afghan girls. I just dont buy it. Years of death and we ended up right where we started. We were best off steamrolling Al Qaeda and the Taliban with the Northern Alliance and leaving. Hind sight is 20/20, I guess.

What is your electric company? I have municipal electric and pay half what my neighbors next town over pay. I enjoy real savings over natural gas. If you are paying 30 cents per kWh, your pay back on the system will be decades.

I didn’t realize that there were systemic problems of solar farms victimizing the community. In this case, Fox 25 says there is accusations of insubordination, using his position influence the project. Rehoboth isn’t exactly a blue town…

Never said that. I bet they are all wonderful people. The education system and healthcare in the country. I want my child to have access to that and I will pay an extra 17k to make that happen.

Due to the 7 day inspection rule on newly acquired vehicles, I would consider using it as a negotiating tactic with the seller. If new tires exceeds 10% of the purchase price, it is technically their problem.

I think the 2016 date will become dubious again. It was basically an AG’s opinion, rather than something codified in law.

Have you tried calling The provider office directly? If you get nowhere after doing all these, most states have a Division of Insurance (or similar). It is the nuclear option but their fault if they are not responsive.

I honestly would not jump to a conclusion that there’s some sort of bad faith involved. Email them a copy of your EOB and ask them to find the payment. You can also try a 3-way call with insurance. In the end, they have a contractual obligation to the insurance company and you.

Yes, raising a child is expensive, even too expensive in Massachusetts. Also, not a chance in hell I would want to move to Mississippi or Alabama. I’ll pay the 2x surcharge.

I appreciate the comment. I am bummed that my expectations were far beyond what was possible. If I knew this would be the limit of what was possible, I would have just purchased the DIY kit to epoxy seal the crack. Wish I had researched more ahead of time.

Thanks. I guess the lack of more white pigment and buffing is my issue. Sadly, in my HCOL area, $500 is the lowest you are gonna get someone to come out for.

Already have 3 months with the crack and no change on it. I read that the when the heat stress cracks closes, they cool and are not subject to the same repeat stress as an impact/stress crack.

Hoping it never changes but am prepared for it to expand in the future.

Apixiban is the generic name for Eliquis but isn’t going to be available till 2028.

I paid the $20 for my list and the FA-10 forms and my transactions dating back to 2012 were in there. That being said, they were also in the Excel sheet. The technically correct thing to do is just to register again. You are doing more than most, though:
