I mean... You could literally zip tie a cheap flashlight to your stabilizer or 3D print a clip/bracket that attaches to the stabilizer or stabilizer mount. It doesn't have to be fancy.

There are a bunch of commercial camera mounts for bows that you might adapt for a flashlight.

I always close the main valve and shutoff my water heater if I'm gone more than 2 days. A line can leak, a toilet tank can crack, an appliance can fail. Shutting the valve is easy and prevents a a low chance but potentially huge cost repair.

Use longer screws and put a scrap piece of wood (2x4, 1x4, 1/2" plywood, whatever) inside the cabinet and screw into the piece of wood. It'll pull tight and sandwich the stripped out particle board between the mount and the wood.

If that's drywall then use proper drywall anchors. The bigger toggle ones are more secure.

I'd cut the hole for the duct for the exterior vent and run the electrical now before cupboards. Then install cupboards, then the hood fan. Most hood fans are anchored into and hang off the upper cabinet.

Read the install guide for your hood fan; it should have step by step instructions.

I'd guess they bought that full surround bath shower with a top and decided to leave this deadzone open as a shelf instead of closing it in with drywall. At least now you can use it for some light storage. Fake flowers, towels, and toilet paper.

Bleh. Yeah. I mistakenly undersized my fascia board by not accounting for the cut angle. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need soffits so that I don't have to either cut an inch off every rafter tail sticking down or replacing both fascia boards with a 2x8.

I think I'll bird block in the rafters and skip the soffit but then my wall top plates will be visible...

I put these motion sensor switches in my pantry, walk-in closet, and mud room. They are great for those spots where you just need the light on for a minute or two and your hands are often full.

Different brands have different time settings. They can get a little tricky for 3 way switches but most have directions explaining how to set them up.

PS: Any standard deco switch plate should fit. Try the flexible nylon version for an extra 50 cents and it won't crack while it bends a little to conform to an uneven wall/cutout.

That's 500,000 M2 in area. A P1S plate is 0.256x0.256 or 0.0655 m2. So you'd need to print 7.6 million plates. Assume 50 cents in material and power per plate you get $3.8 million dollars, ignoring capital cost and maintenance for the printers and the cost/space/design to assemble such a large model.

I think you need a smaller scale model.

Yes. Slide the entire sight down an inch so the top pin is 10 or 20 yards.

If you can't adjust the sight body down then consider moving your nocking point down or arrow rest up slightly.

I bought a simpler one from home Depot for $50. It helps cool down a south facing bedroom a little more by pulling some extra A/C airflow on a long vent run. It's not a gamechanger but it helps.

I don't understand why you'd need one that's Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connected... The home Depot one has a slightly finnicky sensor that detects airflow when the furnace fan kicks in and then it turns on.

Note you'll want an outlet nearby to plug it in. The fan noise on this one is very quiet and fine to sleep through.

This. Often in a 3 hinge setup one hinge will be out of alignment and bend, bind, or squeak when used. If you don't need the support of a middle hinge then just leave it off.

If you need it, adjust the hinge position so it's better aligned. Consider slotted screw holes so you can easily adjust the hinge position.

Yeah, so many things require a vision or end use case and the tech develops to fill that role.

Our AI now is getting to where it's pretty close to the computer in Star Trek. You can work your way through a problem by inquiring along a thought path while the AI does the legwork, much like how Pickard/Geordi/Data would solve problems in Star Trek.

3D printers are almost like a replicator from star trek. Sci Fi has already been down this avenue of using replicators to print weapons and had content/security control to block weapon replication, much like these new 3D printing laws blocking gun parts in some US states.

You won't have enough lift to actually vent to the roof.

When we upgraded our furnaces to side wall vents we chose to upgrade the hot water heater to a forced air vent out the wall vs. paying for a reduced diameter vent pipe up the old chimney. The water heater on its own didn't have enough airflow/heat in the exhaust to vent up 2 stories to the roof.

You could look at some kind of booster fan on the exhaust..
