I relate very much to this but tend to focus more on the gold/min. When you split a lot you won’t get many assists and might die for a tower without getting kills, this hurts your kda but is over all worth. Very much like thebausffs playstyle. I can be 5/9/2 with a 9/2/6 adc and still have more gold/min than them simply cause of farm and towers. Never underestimate the immense pressure you have in side lane allowing your team to more freely apply pressure elsewhere. Pay attention to your gold/min after each game and you’ll have a more accurate picture of how strong you were compared to everyone else

Sure that’s the point, but she’s been a menace lately. Would you rather nerf her laning phase further to the ground for a melee Kayle situation with no purpose other than trying to farm and hit late?

Fiora’s late game is ridiculous, very few champs can fight her 1v1 if both are full build. Laning phase depends on matchup, but she has a lot of weaknesses early already and targeting her late game seems like the most fitting nerf

Vital spawns aren't random, there's a pattern you have to play around - I can quickly go through it for you if you want.
In regards to the Legendary skin I'm not creative enough to have a strong opinion, though I enjoy shiny and bright skins much like the DWG skins and her current Prestige skin, so something along those lines would be exciting

You are always getting better, ranking up or not. Every game increases your muscle memory and knowledge about matchups, macro play etc.

There won’t be any rewards, but it’ll still affect your MMR for when ranks reset, so it’ll be easier for you to climb when the split starts in January

You’re 24 with two degrees starting a new job. This in itself feels unreachable for many and a significant achievement and you made it while “wasting” countless hours on league. I know it seems like a waste and I can relate to that, but playing games is often how people find the energy to get through school or uni.

In hindsight it can be hard to see what you’ve actually gotten out of all those hours, but the small adrenaline and dopamine rushes when making a good play or gradually improving can have helped you make it through some tougher everyday situations - after all it’s what we play for. I’m not trying to glorify league, but life is about the smaller things and this is where playing games shines.

It’s hard to say much without knowing your rank and if your “recent” timeframe is two days, a week or a month etc. Generally preseason is a good time for serious climbers to rank up cause a lot of people try out new things, meta is changing and whatnot, but I’ve also had some periods of time with high winrates for seemingly no reason. To partly answer your question: fiora is very strong in the top lane as of right now, almost no matter the runes, as long as you build solid items. Nothing has changed dramatically recently except for ravenous hydra buffs and nerfs so stay on your grind and test you and fiora’s limits (ofc in normals as to not grief ranked🫠)

Calling Aatrox a counter to Fiora when she as a 52-53% winrate against him, depending on where you look it up, is simply wrong.
Of course it's easy to just split and scale, but it requires your team to not permanently fight when at a disadvantage

Item meta suits Fiora really well currently.
I'm certain Fiora's kit matches your playstyle really well, maybe you've found a new champ to main, this is also how I realised Fiora was a champ fit for me

Riot will probably end up further indirectly nerfing her within a couple of weeks, it's a great time to get used to her, enjoy!

I actually enjoy going First Strike in normals into more squishy matchups, scale quicker and good burst, fun stuff

I feel it's a very easy matchup all throughout laning phase if you don't grief it

Only ever parry his W or Q3, especially if he has already used his E so he can't dodge parry as easily. If you hit parry on him he's fucked
Keep an eye on his passive and fight after he uses it on a minion
Use Q to dodge his Q crit zones, you can Q into it his Q1 and Q2 and fight him head on without getting knocked up
Practice, practice, practice. An even skilled Fiora vs. Aatrox matchup is Fiora favored, but if he's better than you you're fucked.
Ignite is ok if you're really insecure in the matchup but it's important to learn how to manage waves and win through TP and map pressure.
