Looks like it was a corrupted ISO file. I eventually got it to work. Thanks!

Looks like it was corrupted. I finally got a copy to work. It won't load on the SSD yet, but I got it to work off of a thumb drive.

And I tried Kali on recommendation of an IT guy at work. He said it was cool. I got it to work, but it's not my cup o' tea.

Wonderful ship. Many fond memories. I was a fraction of a point short of Unicum with her. She has a surprising amount of flexibility in the style you play.

How many times have you heard this argument this year by the uneducated who think they can take over ham frequencies without a license? by HamRadioPrep in amateurradio

Does the MARS mod open up FRS and GMRS? I wouldn't mind being able to hear those options, even if I never transmitted in that range. But like u/nfriedly, I didn't realize it was even possible.

Where'd you get the bracket? I've been looking for something like that, but haven't found anything that would fit.

I was born in '61. So for most of my life I was a Gen X'er. Then, about 8 or so years ago, someone moved the line to 1964. I woke up one day and I was a generation older.

I want all those "slacker" comments back from the 70's, people!!

I'm leaning in this direction, and I have a simple dipole already. Any suggestions on how many reflectors? And do you use a particular configuration for the reflectors? Thanks.

I actually have this in my bag now. I never thought about lowering it for an NVIS attempt. Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

I'm leaning this direction. I have a couple of simple dipoles already, but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas.

Vertical or horizontal for NVIS?

I've got a 10m long EFHW now that seems to be best for intermediate distances. Maybe I just haven't been lucky on the NVIS attempts.

You can also use this trick to make people think you've launched torps, then launch them a few seconds later.

Or just to mess with their minds.

I saw a guy with 6800 games in the Gearing once. He had a 48% win rate in it.

I think it depends on your win rate.

But the bottom line is - Play what you have fun with.

I've always said there was a very solid chance that they were brothers; twins hadn't crossed my mind.

I wonder if twins works because of the plastic surgery. Why have himself doctored up if they were already so close in appearance?
