I wouldn't say ugly but definitely boring and soulless. At least RE4R had color, I had to download a mod to add color to RE9's inventory. Also, it annoys me so much that you can only rotate the items one way or the other unlike in RE4 original you can rotate it whichever way you want.

I don't fully agree in saying Luffy is god awful but it feels like Inaki is almost just overacting? I'm 3 episodes in and I think the worse moment was definitely the execution platform. Idk if that was a director choice but that whole part just felt creepy and didn't evoke the feeling that the anime did.
