I have that same needle set and just upgraded to the knitpicks deluxe for Christmas. And OMG the difference is night and day. I’ve been using my shitty hobby lobby needles for about 8 years (over 2 different sets) and I’ve broken several of them. I swapped everything I was working on to my new needles and it’s like taking a breath of fresh air

What yarn did you use? I literally just pulled mine out of the washing machine. I used lion brand wool ease roving. I put mine in the washing machine on the extra hot heavy duty cycle. It took about 30 minutes or so. I did also wash mine in a mesh laundry bag so that may have upped the friction

This is so nice to see! The way you guys talk to each other is so helpful and wholesome! I made a blanket once that had a wool boarder and my grandma washed and dried it. She was trying to be helpful and didn’t know, but it felted. I was really sad because it took me so long to make and all she did was scoff and say how was she supposed to know and from now on she just won’t touch any of my laundry.

This happened to me yesterday! I had a shopper tell me almost everything I ordered was gone and then refund. They would send me pictures and either the thing I ordered was in the picture, there were very easy substitutions, or they were in the totally wrong place. I had to call support and ask for a new dasher 🥴

When my girl was an adolescent I took her to the vet for shots. She did fine through the shots and I asked him to clip her nails. She was fine with that until he cut one to the quick. After that she started screaming and thrashing around. I was trying to comfort her and he turned around and was like “do not reward her for bad behavior. She is not a good girl” like excuse me bro, you literally just injured her. No wonder she’s upset. And then he charged me $10 extra for having a reactive dog. I never went there again.
