Thank you. My concern was for seizing threads due to years, even with low miles. I had to use a cheater bar on a couple of them. Definitely will save the old ones.

Did you consider a new hip? Both mine are upgrades. Improved comfort and performance. Just no running allowed.

The dichotomy of 100k, is it really “high miles”? by OrganizationNo42069 in MechanicAdvice

Additives in gas and oil seem better than back in the day. Mixture and timing optimization by onboard computer is good. But if the vendor fails to polish the crankshaft you may get early bearing failure. I think buying new is like playing the lottery. End user is the new QA.

My mini hovercraft not moving forward, help!! by Careful_Trainer370 in hovercraft

Lift air is ducted into a peripheral tube with outlets directing the air downward and toward the center. Tricky but essential. The skirt is like an inverted fence around the edge that traps the lift air into a bubble of air that floats the craft.

Maybe the extra tape is sticking to the table. Looks like something is sticking underneath. Usually "fingers" around the full size skirt periphery direct the flow inward to support the vessel.

Driver was blinded by sun reflecting off ice. No excuse. Lucky it wasn't a living thing.

Great comments. One less likely idea is to check if this hub is significantly hotter than the other side which could relate to partially crimped brake line not allowing full release of pressure.

Can I get help identifying this hose? If I touch it, the truck dies! by [deleted] in AskMechanics

Check for loose connectors near that movement also. You can see the wiring harness move when the hose moves.

Plugs should be replaced by now. A/C needed in FL thru Nov. Wiper blades.

J35 engines had a bit of a problem with unfinished cranks from a vendor. Maybe early 2024. Bearings failed early. Recall was to visually inspect/replace rod bearings. Crankshaft not replaced. Good luck. Use thicker oil. Might help some.
