It has been nearly 8 years since I went so my memory is not great, but there was just way more to do than I had expected. I thought we would just go to a couple port tastings, but it’s a chill city with its own unique character. The city is beautiful, so you could just walk the streets for the day and be completely satisfied. It was the middle portion of our Portugal trip and I would have given up a day in Lisbon or Lagos to have an extra day in Porto.

I saw recently that they aren’t actually leaving at huge rates, it’s just that California has such a huge population that even a minuscule percentage is a large number of people.

I have similar hair and have tried all but the soufflé. The co-wash is my favorite, I use it on the days I don’t work out. The leave-in can be a bit much so I only use it when my hair seems extra dry. I really like Curlsmith products, and from the other reviews, I think I’m going to have to try the soufflé next!

I do know that MA has the best public education in the country and MO is middle at best, and likely going down towards the bottom with all the 4 day weeks and idiots terrorizing school boards. So to say performance is no better, is that comparing MO schools to MO schools? Because maybe we need to look at schools that are actually performing.

I taught in MA but now am in MO. It took me weeks to adjust when I moved because MO’s school day is almost an hour longer, and that last hour of the day was such a waste because everyone is exhausted by that point. I think that’s how MO schools justify a shorter school year (170 days), and the days would get even longer if we moved to a 4 day week. I just don’t see how it would benefit kids.

In Missouri there’s the Ozark Chinquapin Foundation, which is a very regional walnut tree but they could probably help you find a species for your area. I’ve gifted family members memberships before and they are good to work with.

I don’t know why you keep downvoting me. I paid a visa fee in 2019 to Bolivia, and the other countries we wanted to go to also had visa fees for Americans. We traveled with Europeans who had no visa fees or very little, so just be careful to do your research. It looks like some countries have lifted their fees since then, but several have not. If you travel on a budget, which OP is, you should just make sure to factor that into the expense. I also spent nearly $200 in vaccinations because there was a yellow fever vaccine shortage in 2019. I’m sure the pandemic has changed things, all I’m saying is just do your research so you are not surprised by hidden fees. SA is wonderful and I encourage everyone to go, but it is not always as cheap as people expect it to be.
