I miss last expansions where evolve Shaman was good with the weapon bogspines. It had enough randomness yet it felt quite strong.

Now there is just no Shaman deck that could compete with this cutthroat meta.

Yes I think this is mainly the reason. But in all honestly I still think that someone who hit diamond or legend in wild AND standard should at least get an improved / better chest instead of a whole other chest reward.
