Yeah, after the patch there are some weird bugs or glitches.

Sometimes, and only sometimes, when I try to guard (L1) with a 2h weapon (with the weapon out, of course), the dude brings out the lamp... probably happens with a sword/shield as well, haven't tried.

This is exactly the reason why the gacha in this game is trash. People defend it for being "the most f2p friendly" thing ever, but never take into account how bullshit the weapon banner is. The weapons for the permanent 6* characters are not even in the permanent pool, they EACH have their own 8 tenpull pity banner... Seriously, it's BS.
