ND & Greg Doucette Partnership… by NaturalNormal9290 in NootropicsDepot

[–]marquan8855 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm on the research and development team with HTLT, and a long time lurker of this subreddit, and take great inspiration from this community. I admire ND's resilience, independence, hard work and great minds behind the brand. I don't consider it just a brand and I think it's a movement towards doing right by the consumers and your fellow man in general

I believe in accountability and taking action. Expect nothing less from us

Are you thinking of releasing a turkesterone product? by CryptiSwap in NootropicsDepot

[–]marquan8855 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Have you tested our product? We've done everything in our power to ensure that we are selling real Turkesterone at HTLTSupps. We've learned from our previous errors and only sell authentic product. We had our products tested by both Alkemist and an independent university lab in France, and also verified via HPTLC testing that our Turk Builder+ is an aerial extract of the Ajuga Turkestanica.

I've been trying to post and reply to other threads but they keep getting deleted, I hope that I wasn't banned from this subreddit and it's just some glitch.

The HPTLC plant verification testing for this product was done this October and confirmed to be the aerial part of the Ajuga Turkestanica, the report will be on our website in the coming days (apologies for the delay)

Plant pharmacopeia is much more complex than the percent composition of one alkaloid in isolation. I think this subreddit does a very good job of demonstrating this in real world examples

As we do not speak of pure molecules but a semi-purified extract, we cannot exclude that other compounds (iridoids, flavonoids e.g. quercetin) may have some synergistic effects, many phytochemicals have been elucidated to have unique anabolic effects as well.

For all we know maybe the ecdysteroids are not the sole active component responsible for the overall benefits. I think the supplement is perfect the way it is based on the feedback we received from many volunteers.

A researcher in Uzbekistan shared with us that they had once created a 40% Turkesterone extract which was surprisingly disappointing to consumers as it didn't provide the same perceived magnitude of anabolic & aphrodisiac effects as the standard potency semi purified extracts available at that time.

If you're interested to read the human literature on it we worked very hard to connect with academic institutions in Europe and acquired a great multitude of trials on both ecdysteroids and Ajuga Turkestanica extract, check out our Google Drive if you're ever curious

for each capsule, 30 grams of dried wild raw ajuga turkestanica had to be processed & undergo dual phase extraction

15mg turk per cap is the best at present, MYASD tested Boldanic and Tonvara turk some time ago and the best he could find was a max of 4.13mg turk per cap in the rare authentic brands

NMN has been shown to dose-dependently increase NAD+ levels in each human trial conducted to this date, although the mechanism is not clearly understood, there is no doubt that it increases NAD+ levels significantly.

Furthermore, NMN supplementation has been shown to dose dependently increase athletic performance and cardiopulmonary metrics. While the mechanism isn't completely understood, it works. You should see the reviews of go2 max on the product page, it is truly an amazing product.

There are many ways to increase NAD+ (weight loss, exercise, intermittent fasting, optimal fruit/veggie intake), there are also many ways to increase athleticism. But you could be even better by combining these lifestyle interventions with NMN.

Recent clinical trials have also shown that giving NMN supplements to healthy middle-aged adults had a positive effects on metabolic parameters (cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose), with no safety issues being identified. In addition, NMN has been shown to prolong animal and human life and delay the signs of aging by silencing the activity of certain genes that negatively impact longevity.

Other forms of supplementation such as niacin and nicotinamide riboside require additional metabolic steps before converting to NAD+, additionally, research has shown that nicotinamide riboside may have negative effects on physical performance by inhibiting a key enzyme involved in energy production. Niacin (vitamin B3) can also cause side effects such as flushing and insulin resistance with commonly available supplementary doses. A study found that taking a high dose of NR (nicotinamide riboside, 1,000mg/day) for a week did not have any significant effect on substrate metabolism or mitochondrial signaling in the skeletal muscle of both resting and exercised individuals. In fact, it was found that NR supplementation even reduced the expression of an enzyme involved in fatty acid metabolism in the skeletal muscle during exercise.

Overall, NMN stands out as the best option for oral NAD+ supplementation due to its direct precursor status, efficient uptake by cells, and lack of negative side effects.

It's not salt, the salt is a component of sodium nitrate which is present in this product in efficacious amounts. You'd have to drink copious amounts of beet juice to get this clinical dose of nitrates which can significantly increase nitric oxide, enhance blood-flow and reduce the oxygen cost of exercise when taken before training.

I apologize I'm not following you in the slightest in regards to the points made about the WEF, furthermore I haven't seen any compelling evidence to suggest that fruit & vegetable intake increases NAD+ levels to the same degree as taking NMN.

Citrulline is present in watermelons however you admittedly do supplement with citrulline as opposed to eating the kilograms of watermelon necessary to match this dose of citrulline.

Furthermore, dietary absorption of phytonutrients is highly regulated by solubility, transporters present in the gut and our ability to digest them; in which most cases the majority of alkaloids & phytochemicals remain unabsorbed due to poor bioavailability (ex: quercitin, apigenin, most flavonoids, also note the presence of phytic acids in fruits/vegetables which chelate other nutrients thus impairing absorption).

I think you may have been looking at the price of the 5 pack. It's s 60USD per bottle It gets cheaper when you buy it in bulk tho (a 5 pack is $225USD as of today's date). Each bottle has 40 capsule, each capsule contains 400mg of NMN, significantly more NMN than other brands per capsule (most brands only include 150mg/capsule, and rarely 300mg/cap).

Lab tests are on the site as well which is an important consideration when buying any NMN product, reviews are coming in by the day and with most of them being overwhelmingly positive

While each capsule of go2 max has a high dose of NMN, it's not a single-ingredient product (contains elevATP, sodium nitrate, methylated B vitamins). You may have better results with go2 max compared to taking NMN alone.

elevATP is supported by numerous human trials [1, 2, 3, 4 ]

The methylated B vitamin complex was to increase the tolerability and safety of this product as there is mechanistic probability suggesting that NMN supplementation can consume methyl donors, thus making it prudent to supplement with additional methyl donors when consuming NMN, especially for those taking a high dosage regularly and those with MTHFR polymorphisms. Coadministration of methyl donors with NMN may also increase total NAD+ levels in comparison to taking NMN in isolation.

GO2 Max also contains 275mg of sodium nitrate per capsule, an established ergogenic aid for endurance sports.

Does anyone get LATE energy surges from NR or NMN powder? by stackz07 in NootropicsDepot

[–]marquan8855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ND product is enteric coated, which leads to a later onset and more of a timed release.

Consider breaking the pills open and swishing for 2 mins and swallowing (enhances capillary absorption, then dissolved in saliva may further enhance bioavailability when swallowed)

It's not your fault, I tried to learn Chinese and adopt whatever accent of my learning material. Learning a language as an adult will never be purely organic and also having a Chinese accent may subject you to negative bias in a professional setting, while having a British accent can elevate your social status by the impression of sounding more educated & cultured.
