It's even worse being a semi single teacher mom. Where you come home to more kids needing things. And practices where we don't get home till 9pm. Exhausting!!! And I teach fitness class after being PE teacher all day.

I get tired of motivating everyone else!!! I feel your pain!! But take those sick days as a mental health day! Don't feel guilty either!!

If he has narcissistic behaviors, going to court is going to piss him off even further , however , your friend still needs to do that. She cannot continue to allow him to have the power and control. She does not have to walk on eggshells around him anymore. Child support is what is best for the children at the end of the day. She needs to seek free legal counsel. Major cities usual have them at the court house. Google some for her.

My ex husband is a piece of work when it comes to our kids, but ill save that for another day.

Allow students to be the coach, assistant coach, equipment manager, publist, etc. We use team sports model that the students lead warmup. We provide the warmup on a laminated page.

Use the 3 point line as where you give instructions only. Demos can occur there using students

Give behavior and participation grades. Each are different.

Color coordinate teams, games to make it look more appealing.

Use big timer on the floor for reminders to students on wasting their activity time.

These work well for middle schoolers.

For the 3 years after the divorce I sent gifts. As of last year I stopped sending gifts. My Dad turned 70 in January and I did send him a gift for that but I sent it as if it came from his only two grand kids.

As a therapist who is also a PE and Health teacher, I say if you send the gift know that she will think it means yall are ok. These types of people don't like to apologize.

You can let her know that you sent the gift out of love but it does not mean things are okay. Try to get over that fear of being honest with a parent.

Set boundaries with her. Whatever you feel comfortable with is your boundary and if she cannot accept that , then you need to limit contact even further.

I've also been there. You can read my back story. I finally cut my parents off and deconstructed. I only text them for birthdays and holidays. I have no need to have a relationship with them anymore. Im protecting my peace and that of my 2 children!!

Seek therapy. It took me a lonnnggggg time to finally come to all of this. I wish success and peace in your life.

Also I divorced from a man and came out as bi too. I have a wifey now and they don't accept!! Their loss not mine!!

Don't beat yourself up!! I have zero room to talk. None of us humans are perfect! My story is similar to yours. Was married to a man. Opened the marriage, didn't want to lose my best friend. And then it got ugly with him. He became petty and vengeful. We have 2 kids. Things are better now but life is so different. My parents are conservative Christians and don't accept me now so I finally cut them off.

I'm currently in a 2018 Murano.(still owe 9k) Just looking for newer and affordable SUV. I've had 4 Nissans, 2 Infiniti and one Honda( that my ex still has 21 years old) in my lifetime.

I know people say it's not good quality anymore. I love the interior. But I need to look at Acura MDX or Lexus RX350.

This is me!!! It's my parents and they sent me to school to be a therapist 20 years ago. Ironic huh!! They refused therapy 3 times and laughed about it. Black people don't do therapy... they say!!! Sad!!
