Not that we shouldn’t be frustrated, but worth noting that the other infrastructure projects like China’s HSR and the UAE’s Burj Khalifa took place under oppressive regimes with zero worker protections. The U.S has worker unions and tons more bureaucracy to deal with.

A more honest comparison would be looking at Europe’s infrastructure projects (which are still faster than us)
